Karl Garrett 30 DIMER - MIAMI DOLPHINS.....10 DIMERS - BUFFALO BILLS, & NY GIANTS 30 DIMER - MIAMI DOLPHINS

    Inflated line!

That is the bottom line in this game, as New Orleans announced to the league that they are for real with their battering of the then undefeated New York Giants last weekend at home. There are however a few scheduling dynamics that favor the Dolphins in this game, so read on!

New Orleans is playing on the road for the first time since September 27th, and they do have back-to-back home division games against the Falcons, and the Panthers on-deck. It should be noted that the Falcons game is a home Monday nighter. Easy to see the Saints coming off their big win, and having that big division Monday nighter on the horizon being in a prime letdown spot in this road battle today.

Miami went to their bye week off a home Monday night upset win over the Jets, their second straight win, and cover, and appear to be quite comfortable with Chad Henne calling the signals these days.

The Dolphins have had the extra week to work in some new wrinkles in their wildcat formation, and they figure to be able to hurt the Saints defense which isn't as good as the Saints offense has been.

Look for Miami to put up a fight for the full 60-minutes, and stay inside of the number.

    10 DIMER - BUFFALO BILLS

Not willing to lay around a touchdown with the Panthers right now, as last week's cover against the terrible Bucs was a bit lucky.

Buffalo was the benefactor of 6 Jets interceptions, and 1 lost fumble last week in their overtime outright on the road. Jake Delhomme has thrown 10 picks, and has lost 3 fumbles already this season. You see a trend here?

Trent Edwards is out with a concussion, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, as the offense did at least move the ball under Ryan Fitzpatrick last weekend.

Granted the Bills aren't Super Bowl-caliber, but they are getting enough points today to make me interested in backing them. Carolina's 2 wins have come by 3, and 7 points, and I doubt they will pull away in this spot.

    Take the points.

10 DIMER - NEW YORK GIANTS

I have to believe the Giants will be a bit prickly after getting squashed by the Saints last week. That means trouble for the Cardinals, as I just don't see the Cards delivering in this road spot tonight.

For one thing, Arizona is just 2-11 against the spread their last 13 games on the road against non-division teams!!!! How in the world did this team make it to the Super Bowl last year!?!?!?!

The Giants have gone 30-11 their last 41 when favored, and are on a 12-5 spread roll their last 17 when favored.

Expect the maligned Giants defense to have a better go of it against the less mobile Kurt Warner, and expect the Giants to use their ground game to the max on a field that should be pretty windy come game time.

All in all, this is a very good bounce-back spot for New York, and they are 9-1 against the math when playing the NFC West.

    Big Blue in a walk.
