I just heard about this guy Adam Meyer on the radio. He claims to win over 70 percent and has all of these other credentials. Is this guy legitimate or is it just bullshit?

Just do a quick search of 'Adam Meyer' on the search bar for the SBR Forum and you'll see plenty of people's opinion of him, including mine. I'll let you search it for yourself but if you think 7-15 in the NFL regular season is legit, or 39-48 in the past 4.5 weeks is legit, or being negative 30 units w/o juice the past month is legit, then Adam is legit, real legit. Like the most legit capper out there. If this were bizzaro world, that is.

I don't know where your getting your information that he is 39-48 -30 units, but I know the plays he sells on vegasinsider.com a place where I use to sell touts picks as a phone rep for VI. He is hitting close to 70% out of like 40-50 plays thus far for NFL. Originally Posted by PedroNorth

I'm getting them straight from his membership, cuz I'm a gold member of his site. I like many others heard his radio show, and his free college picks were hitting 3-1 during week one so I got the membership and decided to track his picks for a few weeks to see his results,and weather or not to follow him. The numbers I posted are the results directly from his gold membership package as of 9/11/09. I've put every play,unit, and score onto my MS spreadsheet since 9/11. And the record is no lie, I have nothing against the guy but I just have to put it out there that he is hitting in the 43% range right now, not nearly the 70% he claims. Maybe the VIP membership on his website is hitting 70% but he hasn't touted that on his own website so I doubt it is, and at $3000 a month there's no way his picks are worth the VIP membership. Adam Myer posted at EOG. Said he was going to prove he was worth the money he charges for picks by posting his plays for a couple of NFL weekends. He then proceeded to post 10 straight losers. The guy is a complete fraud.

from people i've talked to meyer is a smart guy, but his best skill is marketing and his ability to sell himself. not sure he is all that great of a capper, but he sure does know how to get his name out there and how to get people interested in him.
for the future though, nobody hits 70%. i consider myself very good at capping basketball and i can hit around 57-60% in basketball pretty consistently, but that's far off from 70%, and these guys claim to do it in all sports. just a heads up for the future, when you start hearing numbers like that do a little bit of research first.
