1* Los Angeles Dodgers Team Total Under 3 -110

At the time that I am writing this, the line has not been posted for the Team Totals. I am predicting that the Team total for LA will be 3. Play Chris Carpenter to keep the Dodgers under 3 and hope that the bullpen holds on to the lead. If the line opens up at a number different than 3 I will change it.

I realize you are probably sacastically thinking " wow you really went out on a limb there LEFTY!!" Those of you know that all year long I have not made a bet over -135 because the value isn't there. Until the actual moneyline came out , this was going to be a 4* bet. I will not put 16% of the bankroll at risk even on a bet as close to a sure thing as this one is. So two units it is. Yes , you will have to pay the Yankee tax here as this series should be -275 to -300 but realistically the chance of the Twins winning this series are that small .I give the Twins about 10% chance of winning this series.

The Yankees are 18-6 over the last 3 years against the Twins. Including 7-0 this year. The twins couldn't beat the Yanks with a dominant pitcher like Santana. There is no one on the Twins staff who can really be considrered a #1 starter. You can't get by a team like the Yanks w/out a shutdown ace. There are 9 yankees who are hitting over .300 vs the twins this year. Sabathia vs Duensing, Blackburn vs Burnett, and Petitte vs Pavano doesn't exactly instill much confidence in the Twins here. Lay the wood and then pray for no pulled hammies..
