    Default Eastman 10-5-09 PLEASE VERIFY

Allen Eastman of Docsports doesn't release plays in this format. Use due diligence

    Allen Eastman

    $2200.00 Take #228 Minnesota (-3.5) over Green Bay (8:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4)
This is my Game of the Week. This is also a play form my “99 System”. I won’t go into details about the system but it has been great so far. I like Minnesota to build off that big win at home over San Francisco last week and I think that playing at home here is going to be a big advantage. I think that Favre is going to be extra motivated to face his old team and his old coach for the first time, and Favre always plays is best on the big stage. The books are trying to bait Packers money by dangling that extra half-point on top of the three. We’re not biting. I like the Vikings by two touchdowns.

Not sure but like you said, Eastman never puts dollar amounts, he uses units. So that part is definitely fake.

  4. #4

    Default

ok then it has been altered. He utilizes a unit based system

  5. #5

he plays 1k per unit this play would be 2 units, he posts himself on the other forum if you just really search it

    "$200.00 Take #219 Buffalo (-2) over Miami (4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3)
Miami is now 0-3 and probably just saw its season go down the tubes with the loss of Chad Pennington. Miami is beat up on both sides of the ball and I don’t have a lot of faith in quarterback Chad Henne making his first NFL start. The Bills are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games against the Dolphins. For some reason Miami just can’t beat the Jets or the Bills. I don’t expect them to win here either.

    $200.00 Take #211 Detroit (+10) over Chicago (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3)
Detroit got its first win since 1997 last week! Now I think that they are going to follow the momentum and give the Bears quite a game. Chicago really struggled to put away a Seattle team that was playing its backup quarterback and was missing a bunch of defensive starters. I have not been really impressed with their wins, as both have come because of missed FGs by their opponents. The Lions have covered four of five in this series and the underdog has been strong at 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Could it be two in a row for the Lions?"

So are these 1/10 unit plays

This has been the format for Eastman since Week 1 of the NFL. If it isn't Eastman, whoever it is has been red hot until yesterday.

I know I couldn't make sense of his units either. The plays for Eastman have never been units as far as I can remember, which is why I didn't tail.

Doc requires ALL of his cappers to use a unit-based system. Give me a screen shot suggesting otherwise and I'll give you 25 points

I think the subscriber who posts it at the other forum might have took the units away and placed dollar amounts. Don't know what he might gain from that. Interesting...

ah....so I am new to this and I think I cracked the case. I learned from the best "BeDtimeHobby"

Not saying ur wrong ITH, but this has been the format that has been recycled and copy and pasted from the gambling forums since week 1 of NFL. Not being a subscriber I didn't second guess it, just didn't play it.

Sorry. I did not express clearly

If anyone has Allen Eastman Game of the Week posted in Docsports webpage, it should be Vikings -3.5

Anyway, you can be confident this is an Allen C. Eastman pick.

The result of the pick, however, is another history

2-Unit Play. Take ‘Under’ 53.5 Pittsburgh at Louisville (8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2)
This is a lot of points to be expected by two teams that don't have proven quarterbacks. The 'under' is 9-4 in Pitt's last 13 conference games and over the past two years since Bobby Petrino left Louisville hasn't been nearly as high scoring. In this series there have been just 48 points (2008) and 41 points (2007) scored when these two meet. I haven't seen enough from these teams to think that they can start a shootout and I look for this one to stay under by more than one score.

4-Unit Play. Take #150 Mississippi State (+6) over Georgia Tech (7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3)
Mississippi State just got done going toe-to-toe with LSU so we’ve seen that they can hang with the best of the best. Georgia Tech humiliated Mississippi State last year in their meeting. And as we saw with Miami, which used the revenge angle to shut down the Jackets, I think that teams will have much more luck with the option the second time around. The SEC has really dominated the ACC in recent years and I think that this is a game where the Bulldogs could win outright.

    3-Unit Play. Take #176 Stanford (-4.5) over UCLA (3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3)
Stanford dominated Washington more than the final score suggested and people don’t realize that this Cardinal team really is a contender to win the Pac-10 this year. UCLA is still without its top quarterback, Kevin Prince, and I think that Craft is in over his head. After five straight losses to the Bruins its time for some payback from the Cardinal. Stanford is 8-0 ATS in its last eight home games and I think that they will keep it rolling.

    3.5-Unit Play. Take #127 Central Michigan (-7.5) over Buffalo (3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3)
This is clearly not the same Buffalo team from last year while Central Michigan and Dan LeFevour are going strong. Central Michigan has dominated in MAC play, going 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 conference games. They are also 19-7-2 ATS as a favorite and 34-15-4 ATS in their last 53 games overall. Buffalo is really missing Starks and Willy in the backfield. Central Michigan beat a much better Bulls team last year and will do the same this time around.

    2.5-Unit Play. Take #137 Temple (-6) over Eastern Michigan (1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3)
Eastern Michigan lost quarterback Andy Schmidt for the season and I think that they are really, really going to struggle without him. He was the main cog in their offense. Temple is coming off a blowout win over Buffalo and they still have one of the better defenses in the MAC. They are 4-0 against Eastern Michigan and should have no problem stopping the weak EMU offense without its top QB. EMU is just 2-7 ATS as a home dog and Temple is a solid 11-4-1 ATS in its last 16 games overall.

    3-Unit Play. Take #207 Cincinnati (-5.5) over Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3)
Right now we have two teams headed in opposite directions. Cleveland has barely put up a fight in its games this year and the team has already turned on coach Eric Mangini. There is in-fighting in the locker room and this team is almost ready to mail it in on the season and they aren’t even a month in. I think that the Bengals are really starting to believe in themselves after their big upset over Pittsburgh last week and this team is one tipped pass and miracle away from being 3-0. We'll go with the "hot hand" and I like the Bengals by 10 points.

    4-Unit Play. Take #205 Baltimore (+2) over New England (1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3)
This is a play from my “99 System” and I think that Baltimore is going to win this game outright. The Ravens have been the best team in football through the first three weeks of the season and they have already gone on the road and beaten a playoff team from last year (San Diego). Baltimore’s offense is clicking on all cylinders right now and they should be able to score some points on a suspect New England defense. Tom Brady has really not looked like himself and I wonder if he is still all the way recovered from his injuries. The Ravens can throw the same type of pressure at Brady that the Jets did only Baltimore is bringing a better offense to this game as well. Ravens get this one outright.

    2-Unit Play. Take #219 Buffalo (-2) over Miami (4 p.m., Sunday, Oct.

Well, the thre highest rated picks are the same he used in his "Investment" plays on the other forum.

The Bills and Lions picks are only 2 units

The Docsports' webpage is missing the other two picks Eastman posted in the Hillton Contest. I tailed those two and both won

Here is the link to Hillton Contest.

I feel it is not right to post the link for the other forum

I found in this forum the picks as posted in the other.

Of the plays with a write-up all are the same.
