40 DIME - GEORGIA BULLDOGS - (If 3 1/2 you buy the 1/2 and only lay -3. Never get beat by the hook)

    They own LSU.

Over the last 3 years Georgia is 3-0 SU and ATS with an average score of 43-22.

Last year at LSU, they destroyed this team to the tune of 52-38, and I just don't see it getting any easier for this Tigers team on the road this year.

LSU has been unimpressive all year long starting with the 8 point win at Washington as a 17 point road favorite which saw them get out gained in the game 478 to 321.

They weren't very impressive at home versus Vandy winning by 14 which was right on the Vegas number followed by a less than stellar effort against Louisiana Lafayette.

However, the game that shows me how far this team has fallen was last week at Mississippi State.

They win the game more on what MSU didn't do at the goal line to end the game than anything they did. They were outrushed 151-30 and overall outgained 372-263 but were the beneficiary of a 93 yard punt return TD and a 37 yard INT for a td.

The line maker in vegas has not gotten his arms around the fact LSU has dropped down in talent from the Nick Saban group. These are now all Les Miles kids as all of Saban's have moved out of the program now.

I think it's rather obvious Les Miles can't recruit the caliber of kids across the board Saban could and you are seeing it in the overall performance of the Tigers as the years go by.

They went 3-5 in SEC play last year and although they are 4-0 this year, in their two road games at Washington and Mississippi State they trailed by an amazing 17 first downs and 268 yards of total offense.

However, the river card for me in this game is the fact LSU has the Florida Gators awaiting them next week in Baton Rouge so a lack of focus could be in order here with the #1 team in the country coming to town next week.

I know Georgia hasn't looked focused in every game this year but they still figured out a way to put up 41 at home on South Carolina and this being a very important SEC game, they will have their swagger back, especially for LSU.

    Georgia rolls by double digits.

    GEORGIA BULLDOGS - 3:30 PM

15 DIME - WASHINGTON HUSKIES - I don't trust Charlie Weis as far as I can throw him.

His last 45 games on the Vegas board he is 17-28 ATS and this year he has failed to cover his last 3, and was lucky to win his last 2.

After shellacking Nevada to start the year he took his team to Michigan and got beat in the last minute, and then should thank his lucky charms for escaping Michigan State at home the following week.

At Purdue the luck of the Irish came through again in the last minute so in my mind, this really should be a 1-3 ball club and not 3-1 and if they were 1-3 coming into this game this line today would be single digits.

The key matchup in this game is the offense of Washington versus the defense of the Irish and the run defense of the Huskies shutting down Notre Dame.

It was a natural let down situation for the Huskies last week at Stanford and who could blame them. Off the huge upset win over USC they fell flat as so many college teams have in the past.

Now with the best coaching staff they have had their in years I truly believe they will be refocused and reenergized for this matchup much like they were for USC.

The Huskies have talent, starting with QB Jake Locker but as this game progresses, it will be more about the play-calling of Washington attacking an Irish defense I feel is vulnerable.

I will gladly take this double digit dog to compete for 60 minutes and stay well within this number today.

    Play on Washington.

    WASHINGTON HUSKIES - 3:30 PM

    15 DIME - MIAMI-FLORIDA HURRICANES - Value at it's best.

After their National TV implosion in front of the world at Virginia Tech last Saturday, the former undefeated Hurricanes now find themselves a full touchdown underdog at home to Oklahoma.

How quickly everyone jumps off this teams bandwagon. Well, I'm not one of them. At least not yet.

Yes, Oklahoma comes off a bye week so you know they will be well rested and well prepared but I most certainly feel it was to their disadvantage Miami lost last weekend.

Because of that loss the Canes will be much more focused here.

Landry Jones is having to step up and start his first real game on the road. Remember, the BYU game was a neutral field and we all saw how poorly he played there in the loss to the Cougars.

The bottom line for me is my belief Miami wasn't as bad as they looked last week in the monsoon. If their tight end Graham would have caught the pass down the middle on that 2nd possession of the 3rd quarter, I would have liked to see the game play out at 21-14.

However, he dropped 2 crucial balls on that drive and for the most part game over.

When having to step up and play high level competiton away from home including bowl games this Sooner squad is 1-5 last 6 versus the number.

This Miami Hurricane squad has been rock solid lately as an underdog as evidenced by a 4-1 mark as a dog their last 5.

At home, in a very foul mood facing a young QB in his very first hostile environment asking him and his teammates to cover just over a touchdown in my opinion is too much.

I come right back with the Canes at home to flat out get it done.
