Yes, I subscribed to Helmut last year and his record was 60%+. He, too, raised his prices this year but they are, at least, affordable. Helmut is charging $1,499 (sides and totals) vs. RAS's $10,000 (totals only). No brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Seems like Edward has a big ego these days. Just check out the nonsense he creates on his forum. The guy has a real pompous attitude and shows very little respect for his members.

Helmut, on the other hand, seems more down to earth, and although he would mess around in the old LVA Forum he never lost perspective. My buddy and I will subscribe to Helmut CBB.

Not to take anything away from Helmut, as I agree his service is a great option, but after reading your 4 lifetime posts here (all in this thread, all negative against RAS) it is painfully obvious that you have some sort of a negative bias or agenda against me which discredits everything you've posted. Without question a vast majority of people would disagree with your opinion of how things are being handled on my forum.

let's try to make my 1st ever post on SBR educational:

Because they pay a 10% service fee to the house on all losing bets, professional gamblers have to win 52.38% of their games just to break even. Records of the 1983 college football season seized from Dr. Mindlin show that the Computer Group won an incredible 60.3% of its games against the spread. The Computer Group's main betting pool began that season in September with a $1.1 million line of credit, and concluded Jan. 2 with $5 million cash.

if you are going to seriously undertake investing funds on the results of a sporting event, you owe it to yourself to learn the history and some math involved. just an illustration of how quickly bankrolls can multiply the further you move from 52%.

Just FYI, Guys: There is a person who has blown RAS out of the water and he also moves lines in Vegas and his Plays are FREE. It's Kindergartencapper and he posts on Covers. The guy is better than RAS in my opinion, and I had a lot of respect up until this $10,000 stuff. Anyway, it's not easy to get KGC's plays right when he releases them, but he is very good with CBB totals (and actually other sports). He's a very good guy as well. So that is just a thought.

Looks like RAS will not release any college basketball totals until after Dec 1st according to his website. (look at the order page) He made 18 units last year in November on totals alone. What gives?

From the RAS site: "The 2009-10 CBB totals service has been delayed until at least December 1st to allow time to gauge market conditions"

Translation: ""The 2009-10 CBB totals service has been delayed until at least December 1st to allow time to find 25 subscribers"

    This is getting verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry interesting!

    Joey -

don't mention it sir, happy to help.

glad i could brighten your day.

as for the RAS thing, the market does set prices. if he can get 25 people and generate the same revenue as he did with over 200 clients, makes total sense to me. cut down headaches in a hurry. no more policing forums for posted plays. no more complaints about clients not being able to get down on a good number.

the delay until Dec is strange though as Nov and Dec seem to be the 'soft lines' bonaza.

Edward aka RAS...you are motivated by greed my friend...otherwise you would make your plays affordable...you are a classic tout that tries to eye-gouge public bettors... its called karma...

That sentiment prevails throughout the betting world. Another site busted him and his cohorts for using the RAS name to make their plays. Edward IS greedy, he takes credit for it all. Now he has a rebellion on his hands.

Not the first man to lose it all to greed!

    Default Keep in mind

Going back to the 52% comments earlier - keep in mind that someone who wins 40% of the time is just as profitable as someone who wins 60% of the time as long as you are willing to fade them!! Been doing that with Northcoast this year and making a killing!

Never heard of Helmut - is he really that good? Is RAS? Need either a really good or bad capper for hoops. Have always stuck to foot only - but makes the winters boring - haha.

I just get blown away by the continued posts i read on this forum about this situation. The problem is everyone is used to getting information for free and have become spoiled.

I believe edward and his company are entitled to charge whatever it is for the data they have to offer. Pay for it or don't pay for it.....your choice.

If RAS falls on its face so be it, this decision is not for use to decide it is for Edward and RAS as the information provider.

I have stopped for the most part posting the plays that I pay for ( Malinsky )
since so many people in here that dont pay for anything complain when
someone loses a game or two or for a week or maybe even a month.

I wish i could find a forum with a group that understands the business, the industry and gambling itself.

Im sure it exists somewhere but i haven't found it.

In closing...its a shame everyone expects something for nothing. I still feel 90% of the post i read in here are from people that should not be betting real money.

To RAS good luck on your venture in whatever way you choose to move forward.
