200♦ MISSISSIPPI REBELS and 100♦ UNDER Mississippi/South Carolina - You're in store for a defensive affair that will eventually swing Mississippi's way. When you have a potential defensive affair, you always have to ask yourself which team has the better quarterback, cause most times he's the one who will emerge for his team.
Thus, I like the Rebels to cover the number behind signal-caller Jevan Snead, who is scratching and clawing to prove he is worthy of the same praise his Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford receive. Yes, he's that good. So while everyone believes this is the first test for the Rebels, I say this is the coming-out party for Snead, who can display his talented on national television.
The Rebels go as he goes, and since he's not only one of the best passers in the nation but also has the skills to lead the rushing game, Ole Miss has a good chance of winning this by double digits.
Quite frankly, many don't realize I'm talking about the fourth-ranked team in the nation. That's not a typo boys, as the Rebels are talking about making a run at the national championship.
Over their first two games the Rebels have actually been somewhat messy in their wins. So if this is their first true test, this must be the game they tweak everything and put it all together for a well-balanced win and cover.
Mississippi's defense is going to dictate how this game goes, as it has the first two, and tonight is the perfect time to make a statement.
All due respect to South Carolina's rowdy defense (which helps in my reasoning for the under), Mississippi has the makings for all the money tonight.
