KEVIN ROGERS

White Sox at Mariners
Pick: White Sox +100

The White Sox have been rather inconsistent lately, alternating wins and losses in their last eight games, coming off a one-run loss to the Angels on Sunday. Chicago travels to the Pacific Northwest to battle a Seattle team that is coming off a 4-6 road trip against the A's, Angels, and Rangers. The Mariners send to the mound Ian Snell, who started slow with Seattle after being acquired from Pittsburgh, then pitched well, but has reverted back to mediocre status. Snell has pitched into the sixth inning in just one of his last three starts, with not one quality outing to his ledger in this current stretch. Former Mariner Freddy Garcia gets the start for the White Sox, and while he has fallen off the map in recent years, the veteran has pitched well lately. Garcia has strung together four straight quality outings, with three of those starts coming off against the Red Sox and Yankees. Chicago is 14-7 this season off a one-run defeat, and I like them in this spot to knock off Seattle.
