1000* - Kansas City w/Greinke over Rowland-Smith
500* - Arizona w/Haren over Rodriguez
It seems like the only time the Royals win these days is when All-Star Zack Greinke is on the mound.
Greinke is 2-1 his last 4 starts, and is fresh off a brilliant 8 inning win over Cleveland in which he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while fanning a whopping 15 batters.
The Mariners have certainly made the most of their current homestand which will see the front-running Angels visit starting tomorrow, but this is the spot they come up flat.
Grienke's last 2 starts against Seattle shows 16 innings of 1 run ball for a 2-0 mark. I have a feeling the Mariners are going to struggle this afternoon against Greinke's stuff.
Ryan Rowland-Smith has cooled off a little of late, and his start against the Royals on August 4th shows 4 runs allowed in 4 innings of no-decision work.
Have to back the Royals to leave the Northwest with the Sunday "W".

With a 2.07 ERA at home this year, I think we have some solid value with Arizona this Sunday afternoon.
No doubt Wandy Rodriguez has been stellar for the Astros, but look at his splits; 7-2 with a 1.73 at Minute Maid Park, 5-6 with a 3.95 ERA everywhere else.
Today Rodriguez happens to be "everywhere else", and with the way the D-Backs have been taking care of business this weekend, I have to believe Haren has a 13th win all lined up.
Haren is 2-0 his last pair of starts against the Astros, including a complete game effort that saw just 1 run score.
Rodriguez is 0-2 the last 2 times he has started against the Snakes, allowing 9 runs in just 7 frames of work.
Lay it with Haren and 'Zona this Sunday.
