    Even though it's an unofficial series, Boston is probably worth playing but at the moneyline level, not runline. Even though the Yanks are dominating, they are still 0-7 in their last 7 contests in Boston and the Red Sox have a solid home record of 38-18.

    why is it unofficial play: RPI NYY - .536, BOS - .526...if my math is right it is .01 difference....so how is it unofficial play?

    Good question... This is the email he sent us. I don't think he uses the same formula for his RPI filter as ESPN does because this is not the first time that the RPI differential does not follow his guidelines.

    the reason is because NY is a top 3 ranked team. He states you do not bet against a team ranked in the top 3.

    They are 3-3 on the road this month. However, they faced the Giants and the Cards, two very solid home teams. It's not a bad play and at +130 you are getting them at a good price.
