Boston starting pitcher Brad Penny has allowed at least six runs in two out of his last three starts and his strikeout rate and ERA are not very good at all this season. Penny is no where near the dominate or number one starting pitcher he was a few season ago but he benefits from the run support that he receives from the powerful Red Sox lineup. The Ray's rookie starting pitcher David Price has had some rough outings on the road, but Price has been dominate at home. Price has a 2.67 ERA in 33 2/3 innings at home, compared to a road ERA of 8.20 over 26 1/3 innings. Boston struggled a few day's ago against Oakland's Brett Anderson, a lefty similar in style to Price with a nice strikeout ratio so I expect another solid outing from Price in this game against the Sox. Boston is only 1-4 in their last five games at Tropicana Field and they are only 2-6 in Brad Penny's last eight road starts. The Ray's are 5-1 in David Price's last six home starts. Play on Tampa Bay.
