- The Pirates may play their best baseball at home, but it's tough to win anywhere the way Virgil Vasquez (1-5, 6.21 ERAis throwing. His last three starts he's averaged 4 innings and is 0-3 with a 9.00 ERA. Go ahead and laugh at Washington (we all do), but the Nationals' offense isn't bad, and is a strong 7th in OBP in all of baseball. Starter Craig Stammen has been decent, with few walks and the team is 3-1 his last 4 starts. Play the Nationals.
