Take the Mets as they make it five straight wins tonight at home.


Shocked that the Mets were able to take the first two games of this series I now expect for New York to make it three straight over the Rockies all thanks to their ace Santana. For Santana despite losing his last start he is still pitching great as of late going 2-1 with an ERA of 2.18 over his last three starts. Now mix in the fact that the Mets have won 20 of the last 22 series meetings at home and you see why I love New York tonight.


Countering for the Rockies will be their fifth starter in the rotation in Hammel who at 0-2 with an ERA of 4.44 over his last five starts just does not match up with Santana.


Simple, give then way the Mets offense has come alive over the past few games I look for their run to continue as Santana leads New York to their fifth straight win.
