Both of tonight's starters should keep run production to a minimum: Joel Pineiro is in good form, especially on the road where he has allowed just 3 ER over his last 25 innings of work. We'll look for him to go deep into this game as well; after all, Pineiro sports a solid 2.33 ERA in 3 starts vs Philadelphia. And Pineiro is 1-8-1 O/U when the 'total' is set between 9 to 10'. On the other hand, J.A. Happ has been outstanding since he has taken over in the rotation for Chan Ho Park; Happ controls a 2.74 ERA over his 11 starts, including 1.46 ERA over his last 5 outings. And keep in mind that the Cardinals are struggling vs lefties this season; as a matter of fact, they bat a meager .213 on the road vs lefties and just .167 this month vs southpaws. The Cardinals are 2-7 O/U vs lefty starters. This series has gone 2-5-1 O/U in the last 8 meetings and we'll stay "under" here
