15* on Diamondbacks/Reds UNDER 8.5
I like the under in this game with two solid pitchers on the mound, neither of which has received much run support this season. We'll start with Doug Davis, who is 3-8 on the season, but who has a 3.28 ERA on the season, including a 1.83 ERA in his last three starts, three games which the Diamondbacks have lost! Reds' starter, Aaron Harang has had some similar problems, though not as pronounced as Davis's. Harang is just 5-8 on the year, but has an ERA under 4, including a 2.87 ERA and 1.19 WHIP at home, where he is only 4-3.

San Francisco Giants vs St Louis Cardinals

15* on San Francisco Giants +124
The Cardinals got an emotional win last night, but I like the Giants to close out the series with a win. You simply can't argue with how bad St. Louis has been hitting, averaging just 2.1 runs per game and batting only .214 as a team. The Giants will face St. Louis starter, Todd Wellemeyer, who has not been the rock in the rotation that they expected him to be based on last year's performance. He has a 6.75 ERA in his last 3 starts, and a 5.74 ERA, 1.71 WHIP, and 3-5 record in 10 starts at home for the Cardinals this season. Barry Zito throws for the Giants, and while his season numbers aren't great, he has put together two solid starts back-to-back. Take San Francisco.

Baltimore Orioles vs LAA Angels

15* on Orioles/Angels OVER 9.5
This game could get messy with a couple of good offensive units, volatile starting pitchers, and struggling bullpens. Jeremy Guthrie has thrown well over his last three starts, but on the road this season he is just 2-3 with a 6.96 ERA. Angels starter, John Lackey, has suffered from a similar fate, earning a 2.86 ERA in his last 3 starts, but posting a 5.28 ERA in his two starts at home this season. Moving to the bullpen we see a Baltimore squad that has a 5.28 ERA on the road this season, and an Angels relief staff that has a 5.21 ERA at home.. Offensively, the Angels are averaging just over 5 runs per game, including averaging an incredible 7.7 runs per game over their last 7 games. Baltimore hasn't had quite as much success, averaging 4.7 runs per game this season and 5.6 runs per game in their last 7, but it's clear that they are also a team that is producing runs at a high rate right now.
