Looking at this game we have two bad teams in tonights game with Oakland bullpen blowing 3 of there last 4 games I see this as a good spot for an Oakland first 5 bet on the ML. Looking at the pitching matchup I believe we have a clear advantage today especailly because Oakland faced a lefty yesterday. Oakland has Outman (4-1 3.43 ERA) vs LeBlanc whom is in his first start this season but last year 1-3 giving up 17 runs in 18.2 innings pitched. This year in he is 1-4 with a 4.08 ERA for Triple-A Portland. The interleague play of both of these teams have been crapy but San Diego takes the cake here being 4-20 against AL opponents since the start of last season and 1-5 in interleague play in 2009. San Diego is hitting a pathetic .217 overall this season they are hitting .188 at home against lefties. Oakland has not been much better hitting .214 away against lefties but I believe they have the better shot today to be able to get runs against a bad pitcher with his first start in the big league today.
