2-Unit Play. Take #707 Los Angeles Lakers (+2) over Orlando (9 p.m., Thursday, June 11)
It really took a superhuman effort out of the Magic just to beat the Lakers by four points in Game 3. They had to set an NBA Finals record by shooting 75 percent in the first half and then maintain at 63 percent from the game. And if it were not for a Kobe Bryant turnover late and some missed chances to cut into the Orlando lead in the last minute then L.A. really could have won that game. I think that the Lakers will come out with the same level of urgency in Game 4 because they understand that this is really the critical game in the series. I trust Phil Jackson to make some adjustments and I think that Kobe and Co. find a way to get an outright win in this one. The dog is 8-1 in the last nine meetings with these two teams and the Lakers are a healthy 4-1 in their last five games in Orlando. I think that they get it done again.
