Boston Red Sox vs Detroit Tigers
Detroit Tigers +116 at bookm
15* Detroit Tigers +115

Boston has only scored 4.4 runs per game on the road this year and only 3.7 runs over their last seven games. The Tigers have struggled to score recently as well, but are putting up 5.8 runs per game at home this season. Both Tim Wakefield and Dontrelle Willis are coming off of disappointing outings, but Willis has a 2.08 ERA and 1.07 WHIP at home this year, compared to Wakefield's 5.70 ERA and 1.60 WHIP on the road. Take the home dog.

Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox
Chicago White Sox-170 at spbook
15* Chicago White Sox -160

This is a lopsided pitching matchup that I'm going to take advantage of today. Mark Buehrle has gone 6-1 on the year with a 2.71 ERA and 1.15 WHIP, but he's 4-0 at home with a 1.60 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Brett Anderson on the other hand has given up 27 runs in 23.7 innings on the road, plus he was shelled by Texas last time out for 6 runs in only 4 innings. Chicago has won four out of five and six out of eight whereas Oakland has scored only 2.7 runs per game over their last seven. The A's also have just a .208 average against lefties, scoring 3.2 runs per game so the play here is with the White Sox.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Los Angeles Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers -110 at spbook
20* LA Dodgers -110

Cole Hamels just hasn't been himself this season, coming into this game with a 6.89 ERA and 1.72 WHIP on the road and having given up 6 runs in his last start against Washington. Clayton Kershaw has dominated at home with a 1.12 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 24 innings, plus he's given up just nine hits in his last 18 innings. Both of these teams can score, with the Dodgers scoring 6.4 runs per game against left-handed pitching this year so I'll take the pitcher I feel has the edge and at small price.
