    i think i'm going to take this bet,,,reason: everybody is going to fall on the trap thinking that denver will cover the spread after the way they been killing the hornets plus their homecourt advantage. I might be wrong but that's what i think, i seen it happen before so ,,,,maybe i'll stay away from this too..

    This is a trend a lot of handicapper's use that when a team gets blown out they comeback with that team the next time they play. This is a tough game to call, because you don't know how much pride is inside that young New Orleans locker room.

    I normally agree with taking the team that got blown out (the market overcorrects due to the game), but it looks like the Hornets have quit on Byron Scott.

    1. they are seeking revenge on the nuggets home court after their embarassment in new orleans

    2. if they lose this game they are done

    3. if they win this game they still have a chance including the next game back at home

    4. (purely theoretical/superstitious) If the series goes 6 or 7 games the NBA makes more money and so do the concession stands.

    I like this pick. NO is definitely gonna put up a fight here. I find it hard to believe they'll win this one, but I really think they will cover the spread.

    I think NO Hornets will backdoor this one in the last few minutes when the game is already over and lose by 8-10 points, thus covering the spread.
