Here are our MLB selections for the day (three of them). We will have, two NBA releases as well- which should be posted later (on the Cavs vs. Pistons and Magic vs Sixers)- Five plays total. If we go under 4-1 with this line-up tonight it will be condsidered a failure. Have a great day!

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Florida Marlins 7:10
Additionally: Florida is 5-1 at Dolphin Stadium, averaging 6.1 runs. The Marlins, though, have seen several of their top hitters cool off. Dan Uggla is hitless in his last 21 at-bats and is batting .196 on the season. However, The second baseman has hit .344 (11-for-32) with three home runs against Brett Myers (1-1, 5.03), who gets the start for the Phillies on Friday. Myers is 1-4 with a 6.59 ERA in 11 starts and one relief appearance at Florida, and 6-10 with a 5.58 ERA in 22 starts and six relief appearances in his career versus the Marlins. The Phillies posted a 5.14 ERA last year against the Marlins, who won the season series 10-8. Even though Josh Johnson is 2-0 this season he got roughed up his last start giving up 6 ER in 6 innings. We do not suspect the powerful Phillies line-up will remain quite against rival Florida. Johnson is also 1-1 with a 7.79 ERA in three starts and one relief appearance at home versus the Phillies.

We are taking the over at 9 in this matchup

New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox 7:10
Jon Lester had a 2-0 record against New York and compiled a 1.19 ERA and 24 strikeouts in three starts versus the Yankees last year.

Look for Boston to win game one of this series at home behind Lester: Our play Boston ML -122

Detroit Tigers vs. Kansas City Royals 8:10
Additionally: Zack Greinke is 3-0 this season with 0 ER surrendered and only 16 hits allowed in 20 innings while opponents are batting only .219 off him.

    Smash the under at 8.5

Follow up per NBA releases for those that are interested...

Additionally: Orlando is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games and have been squeaking by the Sixers in their L10 by a 1.7 margin, scoring 93 per and giving up 91.3. In three out of their last five games they have shot less than 45% from the field - one game 45%, 43% and another just 31.8%. On the other hand, Philadelphia's offense is starting to pick up shooting over 50% 2 of their last 3 games.

We are spotting the Sixers +3.5

Cleveland most recently: after a win are 8-2. During the season the Cavs have a 8.5 margin of victory over the East scoring 99.3 per and giving up 90.8.

Detroit most recently: after a loss are 2-8. During the season the Pistons have a .4 margin of victory over the East scoring 95 per and giving up 94.6.

Detriot is 0-5 ATS L5 while Cleveland is 5-0 ATS L5

We are taking the Cavs at -5

For those that were asking, yes, we are still expecting the Phillies vs. Marlins game to post over 9 runs this evening. Simply because you are now able to pick that line up at 8.5 does not effect our stance on the game. You have actually increased your probabilty of returns with an 8.5 line than what we had earlier purchased. Have a great night!

Thank you again for everyone that took the time to write us and that supports us especially Mr. Biggs and Ryan XLS.

At least, at this time, we made our pledge to go 4-1 this evening and if Boston can pull out a win over the Yankees the final result will be 5-0 for the night - again thank you and have a great evening!
