I've known Aussie for years. Those of you whom followed him under other various websites should know his pedigree. To me - He is up there with the best. I will try to post his picks when I get them.
Alright, this is no longer about money. It’s not about me selling my picks. It’s not about me advertising my business. It’s not about me hyping up my plays or my skills as a handicapper. God’s honest truth, it’s no longer about that. Let me also just say that, I strongly believe I’m worth the money and I deserve to get paid, and that’s why I decided to do what I do - because of my endless of hard working hours I put into this, but by the same token, please believe me, I am being blatantly honest that I really don’t care AT ALL about how well my picks will sell or how many customers will join in the band wagon, or what my Win/Loss record will be!
As a disclaimer, I am sending this email to the CLOSEST “customers” I have. I said “customers” because in a way (odd way) I consider you more than a customer, I consider you somewhat of a friend, even though we’ve never met!! Therefore, I’m being very open, very honest, and very vulnerable here. Read this email , just like how you’d read a mate’s email.
As you can see from my website, I am not even putting this pick, up for sale! I don’t give a s*it about selling the picks. Like I said, this Playoffs season, is about You and Me and making money at the books’ expense in the next month. Very sincerely, I want to help you (as well as myself) make some solid solid money and build a nice bankroll for the next month and a bit. Also, I fully and wholeheartedly believe that we can achieve that, well over 60%, that I have set myse! lf as a goal. Obviously, our first play last night wasn’t a step in the right direction, was it?! However, if we lose every single pick, 40 out 40, just like that one, I say more power to the books. I mean, Paul Pierce might or might never forget that rimmed out free throw with 2.6 left, but I (and you too) will certainly NEVER FORGET that free throw! I am quite shocked to be honest that they lost SU to Chicago. I would have been surprised had they not covered, BUT to lose SU??!! Garnett or no Garnett, I am very shocked!! But I guess, that is sport and the “unthinkable” does happen.
Like I said above, I am not even uploading this pick for sale. It’s my own bet “quietly” doing what I always do, and that is crushing the bookie. I’m betting this pretty big myself (and yes, call it chasing if you like) but I feel very very confident in this pick. Needless to say though, this is no sure bet. Just like I said two days ago with that Rugby Union pick, I feel that there’s no way we can lose this, and we did not lose that OVER in that bet. As a matter of fact we almost cashed that bet in by half time!!! That's how effortless and sweatless that bet was.
However, that is not to say, that such super confident picks (like that one, and this one today) are a sure thing! No! It’s not a lock, it is not a hundred star play either. However, in my own mind, there’s no way we lose this!!
OK, I won’t over dramatise it or talk it up any more. Simply this is a system play and an extremely well edu cated guess. The Pick is JAZZ at LAKERS UNDER 103.5 First Half Only! If you can’t bet First Half, then I HAVE NO OPINION at all for the full game, total or spread. I have capped and crunched the numbers ONLY for the First Half Total.
This is what I “told” myself:
Don’t let the recent results between these two teams worry or fool you. They are not going to total another 230 point effort here. Don’t expect some amazing scoring performance by Kobe. Kobe is a genius, make no mistake about that, BUT he wants to get the glory through the championship rings, and not through some amazing individual performance (that most people will forget at the end of the day IF LA FAI LED TO WIN IT ALL). Do you know what I mean? What I am saying is that this will be a team effort, and not let’s set some kind of a new scoring record here. I expect a low scoring first quarter and a higher scoring second, but to not threaten the 103 number. I highly highly doubt that we will get to see 50 pt quarters in the first half. This should start off really tough, and already there are plenty of head games by the Jazz camp. i.e.in one interview Okur is in in the next he is out, and now he is uncertain! Or Sloan stating that Kobe is unstoppable and that they find it impossible to guard him ...etc.. etc.. Those are just mind games that Utah’s chosen to play. Truth of the matter is that they will come out and try to knock LA off, impossible as the task may seem. Yes UTAH has been awful on the road but don’t expect them to give a 20 pt lead to the Lakers in the first half. Like I said, in the first Q, they will try and give the Lakers all they have to ! set a nic! e tone for the rest of the game.
How does the system play fit in here: According to my records and trends, THE UNDER IN THE FIRST HALF has been a very profitable when betting along with the sharp money, but ONLY WHEN the half total is 3-6 points lower in differential than the full game total.
Let me break it down for you:
The books opened the total at 210.5 Around 91% of the bets have been made on the Over. Sharp action however (according to Pinnacle) bet the number down to 209. I think the number will probably stay around that mark until tip off. However, the First Half Total is 103.5 which if doubled would combine 206, which is 4 points lower than 210, hence falling into the 3 to 6 points differential b/w half time and full game.
I don’t expect the Half Time total to change much at all. If it does however, DO NOT TAKE IT lower than 202 (ALWAYS REMEMBER: half time betting is RAZOR SHARP) However I feel that this shouldn’t touch the 100, but why risk uh?!
As I said from the very start, this is as solid as they can get, but on the other hand, it could end up being just another losing bet. However if you’re into gambling, and willing to risk, this is the bet to risk as much as you can afford. Not to go crazy, but willing to risk a big chunk .. a very big chunk
