3-Unit Play #703 Take Cleveland/Washington UNDER 197 (8 p.m. EST, Thursday)
There has been some major line movement in this one as bettors are heavy on the over but we will go against the public on this one tonight. None of the past six meetings between these teams has gone over this number. Cleveland likes to play strong defense on the national stage, that’s why the under is 35-16 on Thursday games for the Cavs. They are playing playoff defense right now and five straight games have gone under the posted number. They have held their last two opponents to 73 and 74 points and have not allowed more than 88 in five games. They have not allowed a team to reach 100 in nine games. We think that they will get their points against a poor Washington defense but we don’t think that the Wizards can score enough to get this one over the posted number.

3 Unit Play. #12 Take Edmonton +120 over San Jose (9:35 pm NHL Center Ice) Edmonton comes in to this game after dropping two important home losses to Minnesota and Anaheim on Tuesday in the playoff race. While the injured riddle Sharks come into Edmonton off two wins and a 5-2 record since the whole organization held meetings after a stretch on inconsistent play that blew over the top with a loss at Phoenix on March 17th. Edmonton is in extreme desperation mode after falling behind the Ducks 4-1 going into the third period before making a huge effort to get back in the game at 4-3 before losing 5-3. The Sharks lost Marleau but are expected to get three guy's back tonight (Blake, Goc and Plihal) but its not like this guys can just came back from injury and step right in and be effective. I think Edmonton will put a full effort into playing a sixty minute game and gets revenge against a different looking Sharks team that beat them here back on January 9th.
