I like ALL the cappers with DocSports (Indian Cowboy, Ferringo, Doc, etc.). They put out decent picks are are pretty straight forward and honest about expectations. Ferringo does well in a lot of his sports, exceptionally well in the MLB. Doc completely blows in the NHL but has been doing well with NCAAB and MLB. Was very hot with the NBA but has flattened out.

Right now Redd is HOTT btw...any of the cappers featured on covers tend to be worth a look

i don't follow any, but i do take into consideration some of them. I just like seeing what they are on. I like to fade sometimes when i see a majority on a play, especially if some of the known big-name losers are all on the same thing.

Doc's does seem reputable, but i don't like the volume of plays that Ferringo puts out. It's kinda skewed when you can brag about being up 10 grand on the year(or whatever, i'm just pulling a number), by saying dime players are up that much. Well you would have to start with 100,000 Grand just in case they started cold or hit a cold spot, when you throw out anywhere from 15-25 dimes worth of action on 8-12 plays on alot of days.

i have also noticed that the cappers on ATSedge, or Langs site, they seem to all be on the same group of games but just mix up who is on them for more or less dimes or units or stars. Like one capper will have say Mich St. as his top play, then others will have Mich St. as their smaller play, another might have say Oklahoma as his GOM or top play, then others will have OK. as their smaller play and so on and so forth.

^ good analysis and contribution. You definitely have to be careful when considering the figures these touts put out in order to make a sale.

I do know that Budin does not cap his own plays... He doesn't claim to do so...He purportedly uses his so called "crews" or sources for his releases.. Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending him or his site.. I can only speak for the past full year and he definitely has been up overall.. There is another poster in another forum who has tracked Budin's releases over the past year and has him at 67% overall and up over 1100 dimes..

Bottom line with his site.. Of course he and the other cappers are going to minimize when they have a losing streak and boast when their winning... They all do it..After all, they gotta earn.. From what I have seen, he has always posted his losses on his site also... All I care about is bottom line results and long term winning...

One trend I have noticed over the past 6 months, immediately after Budin releases a spot play, it seems like every capper around jumps on board and makes it their big play also... Case in point, Villanova and Syracuse this past weekend.. Loser scumbags like Lang (who's site is owned by Budin..LOL), always slip Budin's releases into their cards it seems...

On another note, A.Redd so far has been solid... Not only has he been on a nice run, but his selections always seem to make good sense.. Definitely one to keep a close eye on...

Regarding Indian Cowboy, you can't argue with his overall results, but he sure has been on a bad run over the past 3 weeks or so...When you go back and look at some of his recent losses, they were just awful picks.. It appeared that he threw out all logic and just started a big chase by fading the popular public plays...

Another popular trend that I picked up at another site regarding Mighty Quinn's plays is this strategy:

You wait till he has two back to back losing days (he usually only releases one play early in the day), then you progressively chase him for a win on his next 3 plays... Someone tracked it at the other site and it looks to be somewhat of a winning system. I'm not a big advocate of chase systems, but it appears to work overall in this case:

If i like a play and Right Angle Sports is on it i will add 20% to my play.

If i like a play and Feist is on it i will decrease my play by 20%

If i like a play and Feist is on the opposite i will increase my play by 20%.

ATS Lock Club usually puts out some pretty decent stuff. Their 7+ unit plays hit at a pretty high percent - but they don't release many. Their 5 unit and lower plays are just average.

Doc Sports is one of the biggest scams of all. He does a pretty good job of faking his record.

Why would we pay for this when we already get them from in the hole?

  21. #21

    Default

Because you'll have an edge getting the plays when they are released, especially with MLB where a couple of hours may mean the difference between -120 and -135. Additionally, each capper is not posted daily. Occasionally, no one posts at all

Let's make a wager on this. Name the sport and season and provide the evidence. 250.00, 500.00 or a thousand?

    lmao @ Jmathes ....

So how are they a scam? So far Im very content with them, Ive made more then the fee I paid to get their picks (which I share for free everyday, hours before the games start)

Nevermind, I looked at your spreadsheet....I would be mad as well if I placed bets like those lol.

I though a scam was supposed to SCAM money, not give you plays that get me over +$4600 in 2 weeks, or the other people following their plays lately.
