8 of 13 Winning NBA Weeks!
+35 UNITS IN JANUARY NBA!
I'm not the type of guy to release many step-out plays but when I feel like the research calls for it, I do. Betting is a long-term process and you never know when you get value. I think it has been at least a month and a half since I released a 6* but we do come off a 5* win in cbb yesterday. It just all depends on the situation and what presents itself on a daily basis. I like the GS vs. San Antonio game today so we are going to step out a bit on it. I look forward to you reading my analysis on it as I am shooting for 5 of 7 winning days and a 5-2 week in the NBA this week.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL:
5* CBI GOY: Over 143.5 Charleston @ Richmond: Winner.
7 OF 11 WINNING WEEKS!
+31 Us ($2660) IN JAN
+17 Units ($1280) IN FEB!
5* Mar GOM: MIZZOU OVER SONNERS! 5* FEB GOM: RIDER PK!
I know we cashed on the big 5* CBI GOY Winner as the Richmond vs. Charleston game went over - it even went over despite Charleston not scoring for a full 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter. Nevertheless, it is a bit irritating as I feel we should have hit Belmont as well as they led at the end of the first hald and covered until the clock read 0:00. Nevertheless, a small profit, we will take it. Let's gear up and focus on another winning day in college today as I feel our research will yield a nother winner. There is no reason we cannot have 5 of 7 winning days this week as we have already cashed in on the first one.
ON TAP FOR THE SUMMER:
This is my first Summer with Doc's and I can't wait to get started making money with the other great handicappers that have done so on this site year after year. I only do MLB Totals. I do 1 MLB Total per day in the Summer. This is where I feel I have an edge over the books with the numbers that I run and I isolate my favorite total of the day and look to hit a clip of at least 17-13 for the month. My favorite sport to cap by far is the WNBA. I have capped this sport for over four years and it is the sport that I have made the most profit in over the past four years. Simply put, it is my favorite sport to cap and where I made my mark along with basketball over the past few years. Similar to doing 1 CBB POD per day and 1 NBA POD per day, I will do the same for MLB Total of the Day and the WNBA POD per day. I'm conservative. But, I feel that over the long haul and through the dog days of summer, through the same system of 2 a day that we use for Basketball, we will succeed and build a bankroll for the fall. Updated numbers from last year's WNBA and MLB Seasons will be up soon. MLB and WNBA Articles to come soon as well as we gear up for the season. Join me for a nice chunk of change this Summer that we use for the fall. The sports might have changed, but the theory of research and the POD strategy stays the same. Can't wait!

COLLEGE RESEARCH:
Baylor vs. Auburn
I wrote an entire article about Auburn vs. Baylor for a preview for the blog - if you'd like to read it, it's below - I think it sums up my feelings about this game:
A game that’s going to get overlooked given the hype of the NCAA Tourney is Baylor vs. Auburn. But, if you want to watch one helluva game, tune in as the Bears visit the Tigers. Baylor has had a renewed sense of urgency all of a sudden since the Big 12 Tournament as they have played lights out. You have to be impressed with a Baylor team that has shown these results in the last series of games:
@ Virginia Tech: 84-66 (W) (winning outright as 4.5 dogs)
Georgetown: 74-72 (W)
(N) Missouri: 60-73 (L)
(N) Texas: 76-70 (W) (winning outright as 4.5 dog)
(N) Kansas: 71-64 (W) (winning outright as 8 point dog)
(N) Nebraska: 65-49 (W) (winning outright as 1 point dog)
If you would have seen the Virginia Tech game, you would have thought that the Bears were a top ten team in the nation with the way they were lighting up the scoreboard. This team led from start to finish as they shot 61.7% from the field (29-47), 47.6% from 3 point land (10-21) and 16 for 20 (80%) from the charity stripe as they had 6 individuals in double-figures. Remarkable.
Not to be out done, the Auburn Tigers are rolling right along themselves. This team just crushed Tulsa at home as -5.5 favorites winning 74-55. In fact, the Tigers have covered 8 of their last 10 as they have certainly had the eye of the Tiger. It is a shame this team didn’t make it into the tourney as if they did, I believe they could have done some damage. Nevertheless, take a look at what the Tigers have done of late.
Tulsa (74-55) (W) (W – 5.5)
Tennessee-Martin (87-82) (W) (L -11)
(N) Tennessee (85-94) (L) (L +4.5)
(N) Florida (61-58) (W) (W +3.5)
LSU (69-53) (W) (W -2)
@ Alabama (77-73) (W) (W +1)
@ Miss State (76-58) (W) (W +5)
Ole Miss (77-64) (W) (W –5.5)
@ LSU (72-79) (L) (W +8)
@ Georgia (71-59) (W -4)
One thing is for certain when this contest rolls around Tuesday @ 7pm. You have two of the hottest teams in the country that didn’t make it to the dance facing off and it should be a heckuva game.
Detroit vs. Chicago
Chicago beat this team by 5 at home last time out. In fact, the Bulls have covered the last 6 times these two teams have played. Detroit comes off a late loss to Miami at home as once again Wade gets it done. I believe he should be the MVP of this league, but that is neither here or there. The Pistons have been playing very tough despite not having the services of Iverson, Hamilton or Wallace. Hamilton is doubtful and the other 2 are out for today's contest. There is no line yet on this game. However, if the Pistons are catching some points, it definitely might be worth a look to play on the 'Stones considering how competitive they have been on the road. The Pistons have played 7 of their last 8 over the posted total while the Bulls have gone o/u/o/u/o/u/o/u in their last 8 games.
Lakers vs. OKC
Of course the pub favors the Lakers here by a tune of 65% and it doesnt' seem to matter anymore as heavy favorites are covering at a great rate right now. The Lakers covered the -7.5 last time winning by 14 on the road. The Thunder have revenge here. The Lakers come off a nice win over the Bulls in a big comeback in the second half and 4th quarter. The Lakers have played 7 of 10 unders of late although the last few on the road have been overs and OKC has played 8 of 10 unders of late. I typically lean on the dog here with revenge, but at this rate, why would you go against the Lakers as they seem to cover any spread these days regardless of public favorite or not. A small lean on the under, but with a potential active dog, this could go over.
Houston vs. Utah
Utah beat this team by 7 at home earlier this year so this is a revenge game for Houston. Houston actually beat this team at home the previous 2 times. Houston is a great bet right now as a dog as they won once again on the road at San Antonio. Houston has played the under in 7 of their last 10 games while Utah has played the under 8 of their last 10 games. I know Utah is favored by just -5.5 here but Houston is more than capable of covering this spread as they just won SU at San Antonio - this team won at New Orleans, Charlotte and Denver as well. Houston has won 8 of its last 10 contests.

Through middle of december to the early feburary, he was hot, hot hot, picking at a good clip of arount 66%.... anyone tailing him this year can vouch for that..... most of feburary to mid march he has been about 50%....
What I like about Indian Cowboy is that he is very consistent and does not shamefully market himself with "lock of the year" bullshit.... He will not kill you with terrible losing streaks and has been good enought over the last 3 months that I would consider actually paying for his picks next bball season (even though i can get them for free, i believe in the good karma of paying for good value recieved). I have been a little dissapointed over the last month, but even during his cold streak, he has still been breaking even, and you can't complain about that.
FYI: play under on the spurs the rest of the season and you will make more money than you lose, but to play an under on the warriors and call that game of the month was a little silly.... shame on you Indian Cowboy! Now get your shit together so I can be convinced to pay for your picks next year.
