Default First Jim Feist; now Jeff Allen Sports

So I was initially scammed by Jim Feist back during the '07 NFL regular season. Now I'm being scammed by Jeff Allen sports. No matter how hard I resist, I'm a sap. How's LT doing so far this March in NCAA ball?

Moral: If you already have enough of a gambling problem, stay away from these telemarketing touts.

LOL! Nice one. Really, SBR needs to be out there to protect people. I do sincerely believe that some of the touts are in it to make you money. It seems though that most are bullshit.

Can you ever name a time when a telemarketing call for any product actually was for something good? If you can't make your own decisions about betting, then you shouldn't bet.

Are there any touts out there that are good i mean that hit 54-56%?

What can you do if you dont have time to do your own research?

I know most are scum but has anybody used a service that is consistant. I was wondering because some do list their record every day.

I was following one guy on the web who listed his picks, but once he started loosing he closed the web site down..lol

Nope. If they were and can prove it, lines they post will get hit hard and the chance disappears.

I have a difference of opinion from HH here, in my experience there are reliable services, but they're under-the-radar and people won't tell you who they are. The best example is Dr Bob, who made a lot of people a lot of money before he became well known and his lines got crushed.

Jim Feist has a commercial on the Score(Canadian coverage of tournament) on every freaking commercial break, guy is as sleazy as they come.

Damn, that's sleazy. Anyone in Nevada wanna start one of these businesses?

    Default High Roller

The guy working at JimFeist.com asked me how much I bet on their "guaranteed" winner. I told him that I bet $200. Right away, the man working at Jimfeist.com called me a high roller. He said that I am only supposed to bet $25 on a team that they release to the public as being a "guaranteed winner." If that is the case, I can't win! I have to pay JimFeist.com $25 in order to find out which team is their "guaranteed winner." Then, I am only supposed to bet $25 on that team. So, even if JimFeist.com picks a winner, I still LOSE! Why are these crooks allowed to stay in business? Why isn't their anyone out there who can shut down this crooked operation?

I once met Jim Feist at the Las Vegas Gambling bookstore. He did not understand what a "middle" was - like +3.5 -2.5 in NFL.

    Default Scam Victim

If JimFeist.com is not a scam, then how come they have to state 3 times on the bottom of their invoice that they are clear of all liabilties and lawsuits? I have proof that I made 4 purchases from JimFeist.com. (National Sports Service) My purchases were all made in June of 2008.
1)$29 Guaranteed winner on June 10th
2)$25 Guaranteed winner on June 13th
    3)$15 purchase on June 15th
4)$25 Guaranteed winner on June 18th
Dave Cokin's guaranteed winners won on June 10th and June 13th. However, his GUARANTEED winner on June 18th (Cardinals over Royals) LOST! Therefore, according to the June 18th ad that was posted on the JimFeist.com website, I was supposed to receive Dave Cokin's baseball picks for the remainder of June, 2008 for FREE!
After Dave Cokin's first 2 guaranteed winners won, I didn't call up JimFeist.com, or Dave Cokin or NSS and say: "You know what? I think I'll subscribe to Dave Cokin's picks for the rest of the baseball season." Therefore, why would I want to spend $40,000 for Dave Cokin's picks, and Jim Feist's picks, the day after Dave Cokin's guaranteed winner lost? I wouldn't! But, I had to call them on June 19th, because Dave Cokin's guaranteed winner lost on June 18th. Therefore, according to the ad that was posted on the JimFeist.com website, I was supposed to receive Dave Cokin's baseball picks for the rest of June for free. NSS never e-mailed me, or phoned me, on June 19th with my supposedly free pick that was promised in their June 18th ad that was posted on the JimFeist.com website! NSS can't say that they didn't have my phone number and e-mail address. They sent me confirmation e-mails, along with Dave Cokin's picks, everytime that I made a small purchase in June of 2008..
These guys are nothing but scam artists. The BBB and Department of Consumer Affairs located in Las Vegas can't do anything about this. The way NSS words the bottom of their invoice, no charges can be brought against them. This means that JimFeist.com is allowed to post false ads on his website. FALSE ADVERTISING IS ILLEGAL. Why are these guys free to post false ads on the internet? The JimFeist.com website needs to be shut down. Who, and what, is everyone so afraid of when it comes to shutting down the JimFeist.com website? (Las Vegas BBB, Las Vegas Department of Consumer Affairs, Nevada State Attorney General, FBI Internet Crime Division, Federal Trade Commission, etc., etc.)

I agree just as much as the next guy who has been scammed that Feist, NSS, and co. need to be shut down. One way that keeps the state of Nevada from prosecuting them is that they disclaim that their services are for entertainment / informational purposes only. In essence what you pay for is not supposed to be used to guarantee gambling winnings. It's all complete BS.

I wish there was a way to get to the media because these people ruin lives more so than gambling generally does. If you flip a coin on every game you care to bet on, you'll lose less than when you pay these touts for their "picks."

ICO2525 here is the deal of the day. I will give you my picks free of charge and even show you my own wagers and you play what you wish and if you win nicely you throw me a bone. What a bargain!!

Unfortunately, I was also duped by Jeff Allen's Sports. I was gullible enough to believe that free meant free and they would actually provide a service as described. What I encountered was a bait-and-switch operation where they lure you in with a free offer, add a nominal fee with the promise of something bigger, then once your inside, try to get their hooks into every dime you've ever made ( or might make). I like to gamble just like the next guy, but I'm not stupid enough to mortgage my house up front to do so. Good Advice - do a little research on your own, make a wager that your comfortable with and be able to afford to lose. At the end of the day, you wont have anyone else to blame.

Before Jim Feist went into the business of scamming suckers, he was a degenerate gambler. It amazes me how these shysters can continue to scam people. Has not the word spread around the world several times?

I called a 800 number for a free pick one time, and now they wont quit calling me...lol... they play a game with folks, example... they give half the people army and the other half navy, well... dont matter who wins, because those who got on the right side, think this works and then they try to get a hundred or so off you up front and then if they do good that week... they ask for more.... see, its a win win for them! they give out two games and and put people on both sides.... look at Lang, he posts his picks... and I think he is terrible... and wouldn't pay for his picks either.... you have to be careful and Dont give out your phone number...lol.. if anyone knows how to get theses jackass from quite calling me... let me know... lol...

Just my two cents. I think there are many services that are scams but I also know there are some that really are trying to help. I've been posting R.A.W. Football all season long and they have been decent. But good or bad, as I had said before, I've used them for the last 20 years and have found them truely reliable and honest. They charge a fair price and never chase you for more money, and they have had some really amazing seasons. One example: around 10-12 years ago they went 24 straight NFL postseasons wins(sides & totals) over two football seasons, I'll never forget that. Personally win or lose, I think Marc Lawrence is another good capper among a select few. All that being said, you really have to use your own handicapping methods first because you can then correct mistakes. Touts are good for backing up your own picks. And the comment someone made that Feist didn't understand a middle was truely funny, thanks for the laugh. Shempy

when i was younger and naive I purchased a pick pack and to this day I still receive phone calls from different Jerk off's b/c I guess they sell your phone # to different agencies. I can tell right away when it's a service just by the tone in there voice. Now a day's if i'm not to busy i'll occassionally waste there time on the phone and ask them where there play's are documented and such. They always try and speal off how hot they are and I tell them I couldn't give a shit. Show me a years record and maybe i'll give you a chance. In the past they've been very obnoxious if you don't go with them. It's pretty funny when you can turn the tide on them making them scramble for words with nothing to substantiate there claims.

A few years back I also made the mistake of calling for some free picks off of a tv sports handicapping program. From that time on for two years I kept getting calls. After awhile of these idiots not taking no for an answer, I started slammimg the phone down on the first word once I knew who it was. They finally got the message with the loud cracks in the ear I guess, as I don't get those calls anymore.

    Default Useful betting service

I signed up with Adam Meyer at the end of November. Both his and his employees' picks ran just under 50% for the first three weeks. Then he offered one week free VIP picks, which had much better success. I signed up for three months VIP and to date I am 24-16 (60%) on VIP bets.

i worked for a sports service a few years ago. in 1 office they had 3 seperate companies. 1 phoneline was a vegas area code, 1 was a new york and 1 was an (800). it was in florida. customers thought they were calling vegas and they were calling florida. we had to use 3 seperate names depending which phone we answered. if customers won we wanted more money out of them, if they lost we wanted more money out of them. i only worked their for 2 weeks. i felt so bad at what they were doing to people i could not do it. i have been sports betting for over 20 years and it was an experience that tought me alot. if you are going to use a tout only use one that documents his season. otherwise they will lie more than a crackwhore. if the first question they ask you is how much do you bet? hang up right away.

you want to find the worst service out there, much easier than the best. there are two sides to every trade. the best traders on wall street make most of their money when the market goes down not up. look at things from a different perspective.
