Analysis:
Eastern Conference foes Chicago and Philadelphia set to do battle on Friday the 13th at the Wachovia Center in Philly with tipoff set for 7:05PM Eastern Time. The Bulls are playing with revenge for an overtime loss at the United Center back in December. Chicago presents a matchup problem for the 76ers as they struggle against quick guard play and the Bulls point guard Derrick Rose can exploit that weakness while Ben Gordon & company knock down three-pointers versus a weak perimeter defense. The Bulls are in desperate need of a win they have lost six straight on the road and are fighting for the 8th spot in the playoffs. The visitor in this series has won the two previous meetings this season and the underdog has won the money in six of the last seven. Chicago is 7-1 ATS when installed as a road underdog after losing SU/ATS on the road. We also know that conference road underdogs in the NBA are 31-17-1 ATS after losing SU/ATS on the road in their last game. NBA road underdogs in this price range off an ATS loss on the road in their last game are a solid 22-5 ATS. We want to take the points here as the Bulls surprise the Sixers and get the straight up win in Philly on Friday the 13th.
