Service Plays Forum
This forum is for posting plays from handicappers who sell or give picks out as a service to sports bettors.
When posting a play in this thread, please include the date that the picks are for in the title of the thread. Also make sure to post the name of the capper in the title and/or the initial post.

As useless as it gets this forum, but no offense.
I donīt like seeing touts on SBR anyway, but you guys have to make some money too.

So many touts wow... i wish i could know how well certain touts are doing or how bad they are doing so i would know who to take seriously. I mean a pick doesn't really mean anything unless the person picking has a solid track record
Not to be harsh but whoever came up with the idea of this forum just wasn't "on the ball" that day. I mean have you ever seen when touts enter players talk? They usually get hammered with the exception of LT profits and thats because hes been around awhile and it a good guy. SBR has just succeeded in creating a forum that 1. Nobody actually asked for(to my knowledge) and 2. Is hated by 90% of the posters.
Also you have no way to decipher plays that are from touts and that are not. An example would be "Junkman" has his own tout site yet he posts his picks in the "Handicapper Picks" forum.
It just seems this would idea wasnt thought through well enough before being created.

AAO, you're obviously on the ball here. Probably why SBR hired you. No other forum has ever offered a service play section. This is ground-breaking.
You obviously are not fully aware of all the forums out there... I can think of 3 off the top of my head that post service plays...

This "Service Plays Forum" has little or no value. Why don't you track how the handicapper is doing for the season? I've always wanted to see a watchdog site really go after the handicapping world and expose it for what it is. I'm not sure if this was an attempt to do this or just a half ass effort at offering free picks.
As it stands...this subforum has a lot of value (has many viewers)
If you can get me every handicapper to send me their picks for free (I'll even delay the release by 3-4 hours) I'll take you up on your tracking offer.
Why not start off by tracking the handicappers you're currently posting? I only see real value in this feature if viewers could see how a handicapper has been performing.
Too much junk data so to speak.
Posting these threads alone takes at least a half-hour sometimes up to three hours because they are released at all different times of the day---so an employee of SBR would have to agree to doing this. A potential problem and the reason I suggested a list is that not every capper is not available each day and a lot of the threads are free selections which are usually graded much less that a paid play.
Is Sports Advisors freely available? If not, does anyone have access?

Do umpires have affect the games...and where do i get list of todays umpires behind the plate?
Can the posters be instructed to list plays as free plays or paid plays consistently. This is important if the idea is to make money. They should already know this, but I suggest a discrete thread announcement may be necessary over a period of time in addition to placement in the thread instructions. How hard can it be to indicate FP or PP confirmed consistently?
I try when possible but ALOT of my stuff is secondary sourced and it would take quite some time to verify whether a listed play is a free play. UNtil we come up with a system I advise you to go to the capper's website for verification.
Is there a different thread for the members to post their personal plays? I would think that since the thread is for posting plays of Services that those members posting their own opinions would post elsewhere. Otherwise, the forum could become quite cluttered with members' personal threads...
