SBR points: What are they and how do I get them?

SBR Points are a currency used throughout the SBR network. SBR Points can be used to make purchases from the SBR Store.

There are a number of ways to accumulate points across the SBR platform:

    SBRforum Contributions

    • 6 points for logging into SBR. The SBRforum log-in points are paid daily. Posters whose browser keeps them logged in automatically receive the points each day.
    • 10 points for contributing a well thought out pick write-up or handicapping post in any sports subforum. Only original content is eligible for this reward. This reward is given out at SBR’s discretion when a post is of high quality.
    • A nominated post is eligible for 10 points.Posters are able to point out which posts within threads they appreciate by clicking the thumbs up icon at the bottom of each post. These posts are highlighted in the Nominated Posts forum. 10 nominations converts to 10 SBR points.
    • 5 points for helping police the forum. If you notice unruly forum behavior and hit the 'Reported Post' icon, if a moderator infracts the post you will be rewarded 5 points for helping keep the forum clean. Please note that this is done on a case-by-case basis, inappropriate use of the reported post button will not receive reward points. Do not ask for the points, they will only be given at a mod's discretion.

    SBR Sportsbook, Casino, & Racebook

    • Deposit your points into SBR’s sportsbook, casino, and racebook! Whether you’re a straight handicapper, a parlay bettor, a Blackjack or Horse Racing expert, there’s a little something for you at SBR’s virtual resort.
*The maximum payout per bet is 300,000 points. This limit includes duplicate wagers, even if the line has changed.

    SBR Poker Room

    • SBR offers poker freerolls and ring game tables for all site members to access. Win SBR Points at the SBR Poker room. For more information on SBR’s poker tournaments, visit the Poker Forum at SBR.

    SBR Contests

    • Participate in free sports contests at www.SBRcontests.com. SBR routinely offers forum members the chance to win awesome prizes by participating in sports handicapping contests.

    SBR Trivia

    • SBR members have a chance to win SBR Points by playing in sports trivia. Simply navigate the forum at anytime each month to have a chance to show your sports IQ.

    Disclaimers
    • Points distributed through the forum are intended for contributors of the SBR community. Posters who sign in or post once per day for the sole purpose of getting points will not receive loyalty points. Posters are not entitled to points, points will be awarded at the discretion of SBRforum. Posters that register multiple accounts may lose point access on one or both accounts at the discretion of SBR.

For a full list of ways to accumulate SBR Points, as well as information about the SBR Pro program, visit SBR’s Newbie Forum.

They should give us 10 points a day but we must roll them over 3 times or lose them.

  4. #4

I like points too guys but damn people love to bitch so much about nothing. You are only losing out on like 30 points for an entire month. Not to mention they are going to be starting the pro program so we will be getting double points then. Can't believe how people can actually bitch about free stuff. Just be glad you get any points at all.

Yeah, I'm very curious to see this "pro-program" because even though we're losing 30 points a month, they ALSO raised everything's price to buy stuff. So it used to take 157 days to get $100 cash at a sportsbook, but now it will take 229 days!! (1375 points instead of 1100) That's 2 and a half extra months it's gonna take now... I had it all worked out that I could get one before the NCAAB season started... now... it'll be half over by the time I get it!

And I'm not b*tching, so calm down anyone who is about to yell at me, and tell me I should be happy I'm getting anything at all. I AM happy! But... look at the new math, it sucks compared to the old math!

Due to different time zones I cant understand when a new day begins for SBR - several times I missed to rcv pts due that. Could someone explain at what time (which time zone) new day begins for this SBRforum?

After a real-money prize contest ends, the participation points will be given to eligible accounts in generally 1 business day. This prize is not automatic.

With the daily contests and higher points prizes, tomorrow will be the last day for participation points in contests.

    Poker?

I saw some old posts that said a points based poker system was in the works. Is that still planned or was it scrapped?

    Thanks!

Guys, i've got a question. On Becoming a Pro ... I make a deposit of 200 $ to one of the SBR Bookmakers from the offer. I become a PRO and earn double posts and so on ... what happens after 1 year ? Don't have many details about this.

    How long does membership last?
The PRO program is annual. Membership can be renewed September 1st of each year.

Do i have to deposit another 200 $ for renewing the PRO subscription ?

Indeed! Being an SBR pro ROCKS! Anyone who doesn't like it doesn't understand basic math principles

    Put in 200...and then every 115 days (three times a year) get 100 free! 100 * 3 =... >200!
Or 250 + a 100 has to be pretty close to doable in a year...

    3125 + 1375 = 4500 points for a 250+100 free sportsbook cash.

    12*365 = 4380 points per year.

    SO close...

Tell me guys what happens after one year of being Pro ? You have to deposit another 200 $ ?

    * 10 points for contributing a well thought out pick write up or handicapping oriented post in any sports subforum. Only original content is eligible for this reward. This reward is given out at SBR's discretion when a post is of high quality.

Will escalate the inquire as your account is on good standing for receiving points, on post review yet, but ok for points.
