SBRpoints is our currency here and throughout the SBR network. You will be able to bet and win points at SBRpicks.com, You can give posters credit for a funny posts or answering your capping/sportsbook question. There are lots of ways to gain SBR Points.:

SBR Sportsbook, Casino, & Racebook

• SBR Sportsbook & Casino: Win more points by betting with your SBR point balance in the SBR's Sportsbook & Casino. Wager up to 2000 points on major sports. Bettors can place parlays, teasers, and try their luck playing casino games like roulette or blackjack!

• SBR Racebook: Win points in the Free SBR Racebook. View the Racebook Payout Limits and Information thread.

mySBRforum contributions

• 15 points for blogging your Handicapper view/pick on MySBRforum.com. Your submission must be at least 500 words and present insight and/or opinion on a matchup. Points will also be given for using the "Blog Back" feature.

SBR Forum contributions

• 4 points for contributing to the board. After your first post of the day, 4 points will be credited. One smilie responses will not register to the system as actual responses.

• 2 points each day for logging in to the forum. If your browser keeps you logged in, and you navigate the website daily, you will be credited for visiting the forum each day.

• 10 points for contributing a well thought out pick write up or handicapping oriented post in any sports subforum. Only original content is eligible for this reward. This reward is given out at SBR's discretion when a post is of high quality.

• A nominated post eligible for 10 points. Posters are able to point out which posts within threads they like or appreciate by clicking the icon at the bottom of each post . These posts are highlighted in a Nominated/Best Posts forum. 10 nominations converts to 10 SBR points.

• 5 points for helping police the forum. If you notice unruly forum behavior and hit the 'Reported Post' icon, if a moderator infracts the post you will be rewarded 5 points for helping keep the forum clean. Please note that this is done on a case-by-case basis, inappropriate use of the reported post button will not receive reward points. Do not ask for the points, they will only be given at a mod's discretion.

Disclaimers

• 1% Transaction debit per 100 in person-to-person volume. SBR Point balances will be debited 1% in 100 point increments for all person-to-person transfers. Points won in contests or transfer to Sportsbook and poker do not apply.

• Points distributed through the forum are intended for contributors of the SBR community. Posters who sign in or post once per day for the sole purpose of getting points will not receive loyalty points. Posters are not entitled to points, points will be awarded at the discretion of SBRforum.

If the posts aren't good, posters should use the report post function. If 25 points creates spammers, we'll lower it, or lose it and have the posters and staff decide which mile stones get a points bump.

The old format has 15 pts per 50 posts. Huge difference.

So we don't get pts for every 50 posts anymore. Well then they need to lower the price of the stuff as it will take 100 yrs to even reach any of these things in the store! Very unrealistic now, very disappointed. I will just give up all my pts when I get them. Wait it took 3 yrs for me to even reach 4000. Even if my kids continue to post under my name and my grandkids I still wouldn't have enough points to even buy ipod nano!

There are plenty points to be won though, in free contests, or saving the daily points you make by logging in and betting them in the SBR Points sportsbook which will come out in a little while. You don't even need to win the contests, just participate and you get loyalty points.

According to the clock it is a new day and I get loyalty pts. 7 a day it looks like, well I didn't get them for the 27th which is still technically today, but I already got them for tomorrow! The system here is screwed up, as I got them 2 days ago but not today, but have already gotten them tomorrow!
