SBR Points SBR Credit Report For Tuesday, 11.24.09

From here forward, the report will be presented in another format. All will still be listed but they will have a "credit score" following their name plus any comments needed. Everyone starts at zero. When you take a loan your score goes into negative numbers but as you make payments it returns to zero, passes it and when paid in full earns certain status. Payoff loans early as is to your advantage since it will increase your rating. Making timely payments also helps. Slow pay, stiff or other actions and your score will reflect that as well. Before any asks, I use a chart that determines the value for each transaction or lack of.

I have the balance sheet with amounts and to whom as well but feel the persons/posters credit score is more important at this point which is why the change was made. Remember this is a work in progress and may be modified to better the loaning community and negative scores, unless they have a loan in progress, are not a good feature.

Sad but true and some aren't even making a minimum payment when they get their six for the day.

TodaysAction that is so crazy that these clowns will not pay you back at all. It sure shows how much of a stiff that they are. I wonder if they do this for real or not.

I kinda liked the old way better...

I agree with Mex; it would be nice to see the loan amounts. If a guy only owes someone else 10 points, I don't mind issuing them a loan to pay that guy back and then deposit the rest.

Also, I don't report all the new loans I give out, as it would just be to cumbersome, so if guys don't personally report to you that they've paid back their loans, their credit scores won't go up or down.

TA, can you please post the formula you are using to generate the scores? That way it will have more meaning to us all.

Anyways, here's updates on 3 of the large loans I have out:
PureGuava: Has paid 54 of 180 (Extremely prompt payer, highly recommended to everyone)
    icsky3: Has paid 78 of 150
Sprtbuff: Has paid 36 of 180

this guy actually had my name twice. so which score do I deserve in reality? -3 or -6??

the score doesn't tell you a whole lot. I may borrowed 50 pts from thad but I am a winner more often than not. i used to have 80 pts but by following this douchebag's system i lost all my pts. if i use my own system, i would have been up in the 150 or 200 pts by now. plus i won some pts yesterday so i am in the positive even though i have that 50 pts in loan.

fyi.. you should be looking for people who borrowed pts and a loser at gambling.. i dont lose often.. i am very patience you can ask mex how much pts I won from him since day 1, in spite 2 previous bad days..

Any word on gotemcoach? Who is he currently paying? He's currently got a loan out with me that's well past due.

Also, has anyone seen tullamore around? I thought he had up and vanished (also has a late loan with me) but I suddenly received 6 points from him the other day... via an official points transfer, not even in his payback thread. Anyone in contact with him?

    Sir,

Considering you were listed under the section of people I wouldn't loan to, I thought you would rather "lose" that label/tag instead of the paid in fulls since each person has only one line.

    Sir,

You need to look at the printed text of the first post in the thread - it has not had any edits to it. Your name is listed but once.

Your credit score is an accurate representation of your activity in terms of loan(s)/payment(s). Your winning/losing has nothing to due your credit score - nothing.

Thanks for trying to tell me how to run my Credit Report on you and others.

    TA,
You do have johncrud on there twice (he's with the Ds as well). Also, can you please either give us the formula you are using or just go back to posting the actual loans? I think that would be more helpful overall.

It takes but only 30 seconds to make a post that they've made a payment. Others may not go looking elsewhere to see if they have. In either case, I can't help that. If they want loans from the general public, it would be in there best interest to update.

    Big Joe,
I think there are certainly improvements that can be made here, but let's not resort to bashing like this. Look, I view you as a very respectable poster based on our interactions. However, posts like the one above hurt you as much as they hurt TA. I realize you have a complaint with him, but I'm not aware of the details. Maybe it's better settled through PMs though?

Too much blaming going on on these forums lately.

Maybe if he answered people when he is wrong it would not come to this!

I agreed to leave him alone, but then he took a cheap shot at me in the credit book thread and then adds me to this list when I owe NO ONE!!!!!

So the ball is in his court! Do the right thing here TA! Remove me from your retarted list, stay out of my business and I will stay out of yours! You can keep my 20 points!

    jasont,

The scores are not "random numbers". When you loan is paid off, provided you haven't defaulted on it, you will have a credit rating of "+6" if not higher. There was considerable time and effort in putting the process into effect and once a person gets the paid in full label, they "gain" credit (loan) points. Like anything new, this is a work in progress and may change to better reflect a person's rating. All it is, is a place for people to see who's paid back loans, their credit score, etc.

I know it is bad to loan pts and not pay back... But damn.. 50 pts is only equivalent to 6-7 bucks. so i dont know why i am wasting my time arguing all over this..

I'll be a more happy man if I win money from my books. That is my main goal. Then secondary is betting with points.
