Well they do give points out quickly, but I think they kinda ruin the whole idea of a SBR Casino by giving such bad odds.

I just lost six or seven Pai Gow hands out of about 10 or eleven with only one push, in about five minutes...That is more losing hands than I incurred in about three hours of playing in Vegas this last weekend...That is total losing hands mind you - not sum...This game is notorious for pushes, not so here...Just losers...Wow...Casino advice: bet $25 on first hand and then get out...They always seem to let you win the first one.

This post isn't intended to be a "told you so" rant, nor a straight up whoring of my loan service... I digress...

There's been something of a movement here on the points board amongst some of the more frequent posters to keep the points within the board. Obviously, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that casino is more or less a can't-win proposition. I'm absolutely NOT proposing the it's rigged or anything; it's just that, on a long enough time line, everyone loses.

And since this is, after all, a handicapping forum, so using points for sports wagers (where one can actually win) just seems logical. And so to my point:

Both Mexican Stallion's and William and Bigdog's books offer more betting possibilities and better lines than the SBR book. Furthermore, betting at these places keeps points from simply "vanishing"... if you're going to lose them, at least let a fellow SBR member get them! Finally (my little plug), for those of you who have recently went broke in the casino, feel free to check out my loan thread, where I offer loans up to 100 points--the new condition being that they will be deposited at W&B's book so that the points are visible to all and stay amongst the board members.

Just my opinion, and like I said, that post wasn't totally intended just to plug my loan bank (which I'm really trying to offer as service to the board for guys who are out of funds at their real sportsbooks; those who've been tracking realize I get stiffed enough to where I'm hardly "profiting" anything.) Ultimately, I just wanted to state this amongst-members philosophy... hopefully it picks up some steam and we'll have less broke members going broke with the push of a button at the craps table.

it's not rigged, persay, it's just that the odds are significantly stacked in favor of the house.

It's not impossible to win short term, but if you keep playing, I can almost guarantee you'll eventually lose whatever you have in there.

I learned my lesson. Sportsbook is nice if you want to do parlays, but Mex and Will are better cause you can "shop" lines. The casino is a black hole that will suck your points. Fun to play if you don't go in trying to make points. As far as me, parlays in the SBR sportbook, or Mex and Will for me.

the best way making points is blogging...i've made, in two months, 395 points only from blogs. Especially you guys living in the USA, u may easily write blogs about nfl, nba, nhl matches. I write about soccer, and i make something like 4/week...u may write daily

The BJ table does seem to give the user a very high percentage of "hit" hands between 12-16, I've made some points in the casino, but I don't use the book rules in there.

I haven't tracked it yet (I will soon) but it seems like the dealer ends up not going bust with a 5 or 6 showing far more times than he should. I'm skeptical of the BJ software to say the least.

Very smart Sir. U'll give it back in a week or less. Depends if you play again. As for myself, I've "donated" over 100 Pts. to the BULLSHIT casino already. Lou, are these odds the same as Vegas?
