Anyone interested in forming a syndicate?
Pool our points, get some free cash, and then make a run at it? I don't wanna break any SBR rules or anything. Discuss please.
Just tired of having enough points to buy 2 pizzas and nothing really fun coming out of it.

Or we can pool our points and create a superbook.
no matter what we do, its gotta have some defined rules for profit sharing, and cashing out points. haha
seriously though i'd give my points to someone who ran things efficiently and cleanly

what i envision is we collect points for say a 2 week period. keep a spreadsheet on how many points each person has contributed. then get as much sportsbook cash as we can for those points. each person gets a % of the cash. then we bet, go on a massive heater, and the shares multiply by like a ton and we all make bank.

OR... we pool our points, give it to someone whos willing to operate the book, and dust all these fools running sportsbooks by having a high limit badass mofo book. whoever runs it will get a wage, but we all are partial owners. i kinda like this idea more

how about this... we each chip in to start the new book... get a big stash roll going... we each agree to pay our points each day to whoever operates the book, so our balances should always be zero as long as we are owners... so the operator gets a wage for running the book... but we are invested for whatever share we initially donated to the book. the book owner would have to keep accounting on what is his and what is the bankroll for the book.

You gotta be careful even with a ton of points... mex has a ton yet he still imposes limits. You're talking about a high limit book you'll get cleaned out. Nickelodious and bodog had a high limit book and over 5000 points and they got cleaned out. Rich boy had a highlimit book and over 7000 points and got wiped out.
The only way for a book to survive is to have limited consistent payouts, and spread your risk.

I'm actually going to renege on the 6 point a day salary. 4 pt a day salary and 2 points go toward ownership growth. i think thats fair. if we get 20 owners, you'll make 80 points per day (roughly, assuming all 20 log in and post) minimum just for running the book.

will need at least 30,000 points to allow 300 point bets
would ned 50+ owners....
100 point bets would be max

ok well 100 points then. as long as we offer a better service than the competition. mexicanstallion is at 60 points max, and bigdog only allows some 100 point plays.
so if we offered 100 max payouts on MOST games/events, I think we serve the market better than both.

I agree, its possible, we would have to watch the current bets and adjust our own lines, that's what killed Nick and Bodog, they allowed the market to go too lopsided on some games.
Remember taking bets here is not going to reflect the public, we are our own community, when a couple of guys jump on a single play, the waterfall will come in with them.
For instance, once Zboiz announces a lock, the points will pour in against him, we would need to adjust our line, even if the 'sbrodds' line didn't move.
The safest bet would be not to use SBRodds but create and fluctuate our own lines.

The idea is great...but keeping a zero balance will turn investors away. I myself like to play a daily, weekly tournament every so often, and if we are always at a 0 balance, I'd get bored.

zero balance shouldnt be mandatory, but whoever "runs" the book should make a daily wage
