The official beg for points thread.
Many posters at SBR are becoming annoyed with others panhandling for points in various threads. All beggars solicit points within this thread, and be free from the hatred that will follow if you continue to interupt other threads.
You will be treated with dignity and not be judged.
Once word spreads, those seeking to be charitable will search you out here and bless you with a few precious points.

i dont understand why people would be begging for points, you can get 16 points a day for free basically.
4 points for making one post, 2 for just logging in, and 10 for a daily blog. i do that everyday, which will net 112 points over a 7 day period.

What do I write about in a daily blog? How do you actually get your 10 points for writing a blog? What if my life isnt exciting enough for a daily blog? I know someone on here that made a blog and didnt recieve any points.. explain

Thank you for the well placed advice on how to grind your point total up. We at SBR are no different than people anywhere else. Sometimes you just can't wait til tommorow. Sometimes the grind has ground you down. It is then that you come to this corner to rely on the compassion of your fellow posters.

You have to meet the 500 word requirement first of all, and it has to include insight on a sports matchup. The 500 words is not easy to pump out daily. It requires a lot of work compared to the 10 points you receive. In the end, you have to enjoy the whole blogging experience, and do it for yourself. I have have made 4 or 5 blog entries, and although I enjoy it, I find it hard to do well day in and day out.

sports preview/predictions. I like the daily blog because it helps improve my writing skills.
If I have everything in my head and just want to translate it to the blog, I can do a 500 word blog in about 5 minutes. Maybe a little more, 7-8 minutes.

Very nice. It takes me more than 5 minutes to decide on the title for my entry.

6 freebies a day=180 or so a month. Just don't bet your points, unless you are constantly getting them refilled like me. With me, it doesn't matter, since I'm getting 16 a day, with you, your best bet is to just post on the forum, and forget using the points.

lmao. Right now I'm chronicling the Northwest NBA Division, since my wolves play in it. I've done the Wolves, Thunder, Nuggets, Blazers, I'll finish the conference off today with the Nuggets.
Basketball is my main sport that I know, so I will constantly be previewing games, both in college and NBA.
