500* Point Contest Rules & Sign Up Thread
The date selected for this one day contest will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
There will be games from M.L.B., the N.B.A. and the N.H.L..
All you have to do is select the winner.
Those games will be posted by Monday evening.
Players can begin posting up now.
Condition One
* There are two levels of prizes.
* Level One: Player(s) gets everything correct and gets the entire pool split evenly if there are multiple winners.
* Level Two: The most likely outcome, the top three (3) with the most correct will get a prize depending on the number of players provided the minimum number of players is obtained. The prize structure is as follows: 1st place will win 60% of the pool, 2nd place will win 20% of the pool and 3rd place will win 10% of the pool. The other 10% is withheld if there is a tie for any finish. If there is not a tie a portion of the points will distributed to the winners.
Condition Two
* There must be at least five (5) people in the contest who will pay the 50 point entry fee or twelve (12) people who will pay a 20 point entry fee or twenty-five (25) people who will pay a 10 point entry fee. Who ever posts up first, once the thread/book is open, for the contest determines the minimum number of players and the fee that are needed to run this. It's all on the players and yes you can buy a second entry with the appropriate fee. In the event the minimum number of players was not obtained, all points transfer will get a full refund and a win/risk point wager at the following day's TA's Multi-Sports Book (certain restrictions apply). The amount of the win/risk is unknown at this time since it's based upon the number of players who entered this contest.
Condition Three
* Each player must make a selection on every game.
* There will be between 10 and 20 games that are all on the same day.
* There will be games from various sports for the day.
* Players pick the winning team.
* Get everything right, you win the Level One prize.
* If the Level One prize is not won, the Level Two payout structure will be used.
* Players must post all their selections at one time in one post, even if they have paid for a second. Just make certain there is a clear distinction between your choices.
* Selections must be time stamped 10 minutes before the first game for the day.
* Winner(s) will be paid between 12:30pm EST and 12:45pm EST the next day, if not sooner.
You may now start posting up to have a chance to win 500 points. Good luck.

, we have plans that night and I know how much time is need to grade a contest like this and will need to stay on top of each players card as the day unfolds. It should be fun and I'd love to see someone grab the Level One prize - that would make my night.
