There have been a few changes made to the format for this contest.
**************************************** ***********

>>> Sorry the WA/DET game is off the board for this contest. <<<
-----------------------------------
Thursday's winners were each paid. There is a 1 point roll-over since the prize could not be divided equally.
This is a post up/transfer points event to this and only this post/thread. Any points transfered to another location or that don’t show up in this thread are considered void. Voided points will be refunded by the deadline for the next day as outlined for paying the winner(s).
Cost for today’s event is 15 points for the first team and 10 points for the second team.
Winning player(s) will receive 90% points . If there are 50 points in the kitty/pot, the winner(s) would receive 45 points. If there are 100 points available, the winning player(s) would receive 90 points - divided evenly as possible.
Only one post per person/household, etc but you are allowed a second team if you posted/transfered the necessary points - see exception below.
The no edit rule is in effect. Edited posts forfeit their points and are out of the contest for the day.
Player or players who were correct will get the kitty/pot/points by 11:59am EST on 10.11.09, split evenly as possible when more than one person has the winning selection/team. If there would be an imbalance in paying the winners, the leftover points will be added to the next kitty/pot.
There must be at least five games on the days schedule for this event to take place. If there are not at least five games on the schedule, it will roll-over until there are at least five on the schedule.
The deadline for entering is 5 minutes before the first game of the day. For Saturday, 10.11.09, that would mean the deadline is 6:55pm EST.
EXCEPTION. In the event nobody won the kitty/pot/points they roll-over to the next contest day and those who lost from the previous day have the option of buying one more selection. If the player had only one choice from the previous contest, they would need 7 points to have a second selection. If the player had two selections from the previous contest, they would need 5 points to have a third selection. Players can not go from one to three selections. The maximum number of selections per person is three.
The above players do NOT have to take the maximum number of teams, but if they do there is a discount on the additional one when a roll-over occurs.
* Players may NOT select both sides of a game.
* If a roll-over happens and the player had one team and now wants two teams for the next day, they would need to anti-up 22 SBR points (15 + 7 = 22).
* If a roll-over happens and the player had two teams and now wants three teams for the next day, they would need to anti-up 30 SBR points (15 + 10 + 5 = 30).
* SBR points may now begin being transferred/posted up to the first post.
* Once your points have been posted in the first thread, you may begin listing your selection(s).
bailey gave TodaysAction 15 SBR Point(s) for this post.
