    Default SBR points.. when will their value go down??

    It is too easy to get points. With bets among ourselves, 7pts a day for a post.. SBR will lose alot of money and have to revise. In that case, a pizza will cost like 500 pts.

    Mods, redo the points system to a realistic system and dont give away points. There is no way you can keep up with the totals unless you open up an SBR book NOW!

    seems reasonable to me, they get a lot of traffic on their site from this which is what they are after..

    why are you trying to ruin a good thing? Im sure sbr knows what its doing. i've told at least 6 people that have signed up because of the points system the way it is. 10 points for a 500 word blog is a pita.

    Disney offers something similary I believe and dont have near the same value I believe. There is no way SBR can hold onto the current system and offer same amt year in and out. They dont want to offer pizzas for 1000 pts in the future bc then noone would sign up or care. They have to adjust it to reasonable terms IMO

    I concur. They recalculated things multiple times. It seems like an even formula for risk vs reward.

    I'm taking an educated guess but this won't last year in and year out. I give it to the end of football. They will then put their thinking caps on for next year (next football season).

    Wrong again. Theyve recalculated it over and over because theyve offered too many. They still dont realize how valuable these points really are when my above terms are considered. SBR has lost alot on their first systems and will still lose alot on these. They need to revise to a realistic system.

    The formula you look at is a long term formula. it won't last long term.

    SBR points won't run on for years. Why do you think that was their idea to run it long term. it doesn't say it will run for long term.
