I'm testing uncharted waters here by trying to run a point bookie contest through SBR picks. Here's the link:

I have no idea how well this will work, but the first 16 people who join will be risking 5 to 15 points on 1 to 3 picks in the NFL, NCAA football or MLB.

Let's see how this works and I will try to run this contest on a daily basis. I don't even know how I will collect points for these wagers, but I presume it will be done through SBR picks, which will be good. And I presume I will have to award points through the SBR points program, which you can count on me to do (I have plenty of points to cover any action received in this contest).

JJgold was the only person who joined the contest to place bets. He went 0-3 on his bets, which were valued at 15 points (3 units X 5 points) each.

JJ, you owe me 48 points for your losses. You were also awarded 10 points for winning "the contest" of which 5 was your own and 5 was mine for opening the contest. You should refund my 5 points and pay me a total of 53, but I will be happy to receive just the 48 points.

Running a contest as a point bookie operation has potential, but people need to settle up after losing just like they would with any other bookie.
