Getting it up early for those that like to play openers.

Entry Fee is 20 points.

You must Pick Exactly 10 NCAA Football plays (Sides only) from the card ending Saturday, 9/26/09. All normal plays will be for 1 unit, and you are allowed up to 3 Best Bets, which will be worth 3 units. Standings will be based on UNITS.

Point allocation depends on number of entries:

Members 1-9
1st: 100%

Members 10-19
1st: 60%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%

Members 20-49
1st: 50%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
5th: 5%

Members 50+
1st: 30%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 14%
4th: 9%
5th: 7%
6th: 6%
7th: 5%
8th: 4%
9th: 3%
10th: 2%

An important lesson that was learned here is that when there is a tie in units, sbrpicks automatically uses Wins as a tiebreaker.

I like that rule so we will keep it in and I will add it to official rules.

However, since this was never announced before, for the ONE TIME ONLY I will make up the points to losturmarbles by bumping him up to what he would have won on a tie. The top 2 would have divided 518 points for 259 each, so I will give him 111 points.

Also, I WILL add Totals starting next week, and keep it at 10 plays.

i was about to post about that.

if that's the tie breaker, then it needs to be listed on the main page as the "Grading Method", otherwise there is no point in having best bets.

Well, there IS a point in having best bets in that they could allow you to finish ahead of guys with fewer wins. Just remember that ties lose in effect.
