Default So, what's an SBR point worth ?

My quick estimate is 5 cents ?

Still cool that SBR rewards you with 35 cents for making a post a day, more than RX or EOG gives you, but not quite paid poster status, either !

Reminds me to use my AMEX points, more than anything else.... or at least check into it ?

    Cool concept, SBR !

That is a good question Doug. It depends on what you purchase or get free sports book money.

Let's see...1250 points gets you a $250 FP at BJ. If you do the 3 team parlay on all possible combinations, you come out with $187.50. That's about $0.15 a point. Of course now you have to deal with the rollover requirements.

I've heard some suggest that they are worth as much as $.22 each. I would say that for the average poster and their use of them they rank closer to $.08 but its just an estimate.

In hindsight the casino seems like a cruel hoax.

The value of an SBR point will increase over time. I would hope sponsors can bid on the ability to promote themself with freeplays, logo merchandise and more.

Razz Donkey's post is accurate I think; .10 to .25 depending on what you buy.

Default How much are SBR points worth in real dollars?

Turned in some points recently for a free play at bet phoenix. I calculated them to be worth about 20 cents per point turning the freeplay into cash. Is this what others come up with?

What other ways to do have of turning them into cash at sportsbooks?

10 cents for 250 bucks of Betjam Cash. 12 cents for Pizza. 6.4 for 50 buck gift cards. 6.1 for lower end televisions. Something like that, I haven't done the calculations in a while.

I generally value them at ten cents per point, but that's simply off of cash at certain books or whatever.

I was deciding between a Target gift card and an iPod, and I saw the gift cards are better value than any of the iPods available.

If you want bang for your buck, pizza and sportsbook cash provide the best value.

If neither of those appeal to you, gift cards would be the third option.

That is better than working the blackjack table till you're up 150, only to lose that and another 250 while on obvious tilt.
