If they do not match, your choice is the program number.

Last race of the day can not go off after 5:30pm EST.

All wagers must be settled by 6:30PM EST today.

Fair Grounds is Central Time Zone as it was explained to me since part of Florida's panhandle is Central time and they (FG) are west of Florida. Race went off at 4:39pm locally. This is taken from DRF results, " Off Times in Local P.M".

I did make a mistake saying 20 points were needed to balance, and for that I do apologize, only 18 points are needed to settle your account.

^--- Cabo has rules for when he books football and one of them is time related - anything after that time is not allowed by him. This happened in the SD at OAK game last night. A poster was late in getting his post in and was told, it doesn't count (or words to that effect). The rules were very clear and followed on this end. The last race went off AFTER the deadline and does not count. Simply put Cabo owes my 18 points for his losses on the first nice races.

^--- Wrong sport-o, the rules state the last race needed to go off by 5:30pm EST. The last race did not and therefore had no action and he owes for the first nine races and that would be 18 points. He's got more than to cover his losses.

This is not between you and I. It is between Cabo and I but, he knows I'm right and won't pay or is a slow pay.

Your loss but I wish you well. The rules for each and every book for the day/sport are clear and are to be followed by all involved (points booker and points wagerer). And in the future because of Cabo not paying his debt all my books will now end up being post up/transfer first before your wager(s) can be valid.

No ill will here, just a consumer opinion. IMHO, you might have been better off to simply pay him the 2 points, and say in the future, the rules are the rules, period. It is odd to put a time limit on racing; any number of things can cause delays. That's one reason I rarely use Carib Sports, if a track is running late, they keep post times at whatever the estimated times were. They have no adaptability, a problem for a racebook.

Things happen at a track that cause a delay, I get that but I can't control any delay situation. The rules are put in place to protect all/both parties as previously explained to you. I've already made changes for the new formatting of the horse book. You're welcome to participate or not as that is your choice.

Just curious what is the reasoning for no races to start after a certain time???? The rules were clearly stated and i'm good with that.

You're welcome. I try to handle things privately as best/long as I can. I've read how some posters got worked over and SBR had to bail them out. Things are fine now. I try my best to spell everything out for each book I open and am working on having them all be as similar as they can to make it easier for those who want to participate in points wagering.

Every track has a beginning/opening race and a closing/last race. Today being the second day of the pre-season for the N.H.L. I like watching those games while taking notes for the upcoming season, in addition there was a family obligation (that ended up being re-scheduled). I have other formats for doing a horse book and hope you and others will give it a try.
