    Anyone going to purchase Google glass?

    It's becoming available to some people on Tuesday, the 15th.

    It's pretty pricey. About $1500, I think. It'll probably cost about half of that in a year or so...

    Anyway, looks interesting:

    Still of marginal use to most people. The price is a little steep unless you love the newest gadgets and/or want to start developing code for it.

    Agree about the first mover potential. If it's not going to be a volume app seller product there may be less competition to create that killer product too.

    I'll definitely have google glass in the future when it actually becomes useful. The benefit of being able to protect yourself from the largest gang in America, the police, will be worth that alone.
