You need a bigger clientele than a couple friends Ragnar.

Had a buddy who did that, got cleaned out every week.

    LOL. Classic

Well an agent and a book are two different thing, you want to be a bookie. I wouldn't recommend it but I know nothing about your friends or circumstance. I would say if you do it get a prepaid phone for communication with players and a PPH office. Also and this is important make everyone think you are working for someone. Don't let them know it's you ever, there are many good reason for this if you want me to list some let me know.

No sir. But if you only have a few guys betting with you and they KNOW sports, it's how it goes.

People who know sports? Percentages are in your favor if you're the house. Just use Pinnacle lines. All your friend had to do. Once pinny moves... he moves.

He was using Covers, but I think his mistake was he was using the open line.

You will go in debt 90% of the time and 10% of the time you'll actually make money. Hope you're sitting on cash to pay out and headaches for days, but then again if you're well structured...

my suggestion is dont accept you brokedikkk bro as a client. yeah i know, its tempting due to all the losers he posts but the fraud will just run up the tab and stiff.

the broketard cant even get a loan at the air bank due to his fico score being in single digits same as his iq.

    lol

bad idea to be a book with your friends, you're going to lose a lot of friends and have alot of arguements if you're sucessful and if if you're not sucessful you will be heaps in debt

It's not a good ending when you get into the bookie business

If you are going to do it allow only two team parlays and hundred dollar maximum wagers

start guys out at a nickel max

    strict settlement terms

don't use pinny. use scoresandodds.com tells the exact times the lines changed. helps verify against when the texts come in, texts only for plays no calls makes it super easy to keep track of…

start small build up. limit the max bet to a percentage of your bankroll but then again I wouldn't recommend starting shop with anything under 10k even if it is for just a few friends. good luck.

Don't do it.....My one friend is a small time bookie for all of my friends (and others in the area)

Two of my barreled in friends owe him a lot of money and it's caused some problems, way more than its worth

He does make a nice chunk of change during football season, but not really worth all the hassle of having to bug your friends and people you know to pay their debts every week

I ran my own book in college roughly 30 yrs. ago. Made some pretty good money until I got busted. Of course, people squealed to their parents.

10yrs deferred adjudication and restitution was a tough lesson to learn.

If a book takes a line down, scoresandodds leaves the previous one hanging. If you let people bet against you using scoresandodds and you aren't getting beat, your clientele is dumber than rocks.

You would need to generate a very large network of clients to make any money. Typical advantage is only 11-10 and you need to be ready for some short term loss. You could offer better odds then those offered by Vegas to attract clients.
