I like all sorts of cigars. However for an everyday smoke (i.e. cheap) I like a JR Ultimate. I prefer a 5 or 6 x 50-54.

  3. #3

    Padron 1964 Diplomatico

    Padron 1926 No 9

    Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo.

Cubans went in the toilet for a few years----but have bounced back nicely.

Padron just seems to be producing amazing cigars lately.

went to stock up on some cigars this afternoon. I usually buy 20; 5 cigars, 4 different brands, also if you buy 5 you get one free. So 24 all in all.

3 of the brands have gone up $1.00 each Thanks Obama

Sammy I sampled some of those a few weeks ago at a gala. They were smooth, creamy but a difficult draw for the ring size. I don't like to spark them that often they get bitter after a couple of lights.

Got two boxes of these late last year.

Most Mexican "Cubans" are fake. Be careful!

    My favorites are:

    Opus X-any

1926 Padron Anniversary #1's. Smoking one now with a snifter of Booker's.

Cohiba Siglo Vi Habanos when I can get them!

Favorite cigar under $10-Kristoff Maduro Ligero

    Not an affectionado per se....
but I do like to savor cigars for the holidays
    in Mexico every winter.

    Cuban Partagás are especially pleasing....
I first bought them from a stunning beauty plying her
    wares on the costera.

    Aristocrat - 5⅛" × 40 (130 × 15.88 mm), Petit Cetro, a petit corona

  16. #16

opux x once or twice a year and acid kuba.

That Padron is a real nice smoke. Gentle but bold. That Booker's is a real nice small batch too.

Your having a pretty good night I would say.

wonder what the poor folks are doing right now???

1st Weekend off in 4 months. Enjoying cigars and good bourbon tonight and heading to Pennsylvania for a weekend of golf in the morning!

I have a buddy that just gave me a full box of those 1926 Padrons. (Cigar store owner-it's great to have a buddy in that business)

I lit up like a Christmas tree when I saw them. The cheapest place online sells them for $504 a box! Life is truly great sometimes.

I would trade a few for some Opus X if someone had some.

$8-11 each is my limit on daily cigars - on special occasions more

Mine as well. Kristoff Maduro, Oliva V Torpedo, and La Flor Dominicana at around $8-$10 are what I smoke the most.

I used to buy online and get good to great deals... State of California put an end to that with a tax

So I buy local. The buy 5 get one free is an OK deal

Fuente Anejo Shark if you can find it.

Retails about 12 bucks. You will not be disappointed.

Also, if you have a something to celebrate, try a Padron 45, (Little Hammer).

I still have 4 Little Hammers left in my humidor. Truly a great cigar. I haven't tried the 46 yet but it's supposed to be even better.

As far as non-Cubans, the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur #1 Maduro has always been one of my favorites.
I also really like Padrons and some of the La Gloria Cubanas as well.
