SBR Posters Hall of Fame

Selection process
12 posters will be placed up for vote each year.
To qualify, candidates must be confirmed by 80% of votes from senior posters(senior currently means at least 1,000 posts and at least 1 year of posting).
A maximum of 6 posters a year will be inducted. If more than 6 receive 80% confirmed then the 6 candidates who receive the most senior poster votes will be inducted.

Nomination process
Once a year a volunteer selection committee will be selected by SBR and tasked to nominate 6 or more Hall of Fame candidates. The nominees will be added to the list of unsuccessful candidates from the prior year and presented to the senior posters for confirmation. If a nominee is not confirmed after two consecutive ballots he/she will not appear on the ballot the following election unless nominated by the selection committee.

A Hall of Fame Forum will be created
Those inducted into the Hall will have a greatest posts section, comments from their friends, ect. Active posters will get a badge.

We will make the 3rd Sunday in September the annual date which we choose 6 Hall of fame posters.

Thanks to goat and all those who have brought this up. I put up this proposal to see what changes we would want to make. This is a modified format from the NFL Hall of Fame.

Senior poster = 1000 posts is a poor measure. Some guys on here post that in a week. Senior should be by how many years here. Probably anyone who has been here 3+ years is a better definition of senior.
