The guy next door bought a new grill

And put his old one in the alley. Stainless steel one of those 500.00 ones. What could be wrong with it that maybe not fixable?

Guy, there are many stainless steel grills like Brinkman. They look like an aircraft carrier and could be bought for $200 at Home Depot and such. I had one and the burners burned off in 1 1/2 years. Put it in front and people take them to scrap.

    Weber, nothing is better.

There are some "guys" out there who don't want to put in the work to fix something the second it goes down-- they just go out and but a replacement. But 500.00 isn't that much for a nice grill anyways.

The best thing you could do to that grill is give it a real life. Gut it out and remove all the propane crap. make sure that when the lids shut, there are no major airways in. Now start bbq'ing like a real man and use charcoal. If you know anyone who owns apple trees, offer to prune some next winter and store up and best wood for flavoring meats.

Careful, I had a buddy who ditched his because there was a hornets nest in it. He sealed it up and dropped it somewhere. Proceed with caution.

manny, that's how sissy rich people grill, who don't even know the difference between grilling and bbq'ing. My wife bought me an infra-red grill for my birthday and I took it back as soon as I saw it. Most people don't realize that most of those grills use cheep, thin steel, and their horrible designs make it impossible to keep clean and rust-free. Biggest waste of money!

btw, I bowl of fruit should never be within the line of sight of a real grill...whoever took that pic believed the fruit complimented the grill...unreal. Manny, you from Rhode Island, Conn., or Canada?
