There's a functionality in some vehicles called "Global Close" where even when turned off, a window will automatically close itself.
Whether or not this would work under water, I have no idea. But it's at least one possibility to test which is automatically better than saying it's "unexplainable"

Watching again, the back seat window breaks at 0:33, but it's possible that it's video distortion or glare. At this moment the car isn't under water, so why does the window break? The lady could have broken it, but isn't she seen still in the drivers seat at this moment? And wouldn't the doctor see the window is broken, he clearly had a clear view of it. As he entered the water that window was facing him and still above the water. So why would he bang on the hatch side window?
