Wow,this is hard to figure out.You have Imus who's all burnt out from decades of drug use going senile and having respitory problems where he doesn't even know who Pacman Jones is, getting charged with being a racist.It's definitely a thought crime because no one knows what his true beliefs were since it was an open ended answer he gave to Pacman getting arrested 6 times in two years.

Up front he made it sound like he was stereotyping blacks as being a part of causing allot of crimes and then when he heard blacks reaction to his statement he said no,he meant that Pacman was probably a decent guy just getting picked on too much being arrested because he's black.

So now who's going to be the judge as to which race of people Imus offended????It seems more like he offended whites to me by defending Pacman!

What about all of major liberal network media saying that white racism is out there where a few percent of whites won't vote for Obama just because he's black.Have they done a story on why the overwhelming vast majority of blacks are going to vote for Obama just because he's black?

It's a one way street in this country,why is it that way?Liberal academia,democrats and Republicans being libs and the media all being liberal I guess is the answer.It would be nice to get a Libertarian into office in my opinion.So if Obam becomes president,is that the official end of racism in this country?Why shouldn't it be?

Racism is a status thing where the more impoverished you are,the more you screw up,the less you have going for you whether you are white,black,green or purple the harder life is.It's not a color thing.

Racism is stupid, but it exists. It mainly exists because you have self-proclaimed political leaders who INSIST that it exist. Imus is an idiot, but he is paid to have an opinion. The minute that opinion is stifled, the Fifth First Amendment has been breached.

True story,I have black friends or a black friend as everyone who gives their opinion on racism feels obligated to say.Actually,he's a business acquaintence that seems like a great guy.I think he has a Ron Paul sticker on his bumber.Growing up in school I had Jewish friends,American Indian friends etc.so I could care less what or who someone was to hang around with.I don't dislike someone or like someone because of their nationality.In fact,I'm of Slovanian-Croation heritage on my mom's side and I despise allot of the ones where I live because they turn everything socialist. But here is a truth.I live in an area where up until the last few years there have not been allot of people of color.The reason is,northern Minnesota is just too cold for any logical person to move to unless there were huge incentives.So there lies the problem,incentives.It's full of liberal democrats up here who run a euphorian Keynesian economic society and economy.Most people work for a branch of government and we have a ton of poverty pimps.I live in a quiet older established neighborhood that I was raised from birth at.We are now getting low income housing put in a lot where we used to play sandlot baseball as kids.The democrats have imported so many people in from places like Florida and Illinois with their basket of benefits.They get kids all the way from Florida with criminal records to come here to play measely Jr.college football.The illigitimate birth rate is tremendous!!It's the dysfunctional gals with roots here in the area that have kids with the kids coming here from hoods in Florida.Virginia and Hibbing Minnesota used to be most Scandanavian,and euro but it's starting to look like an inner city here.I always have the tv on when I'm online and when they mention a bank or convenience store robbery it's almosy always someone that artificially was brought here in the name of liberal social engineering that did the crime.

wow, this is hard to figure out. I don't believe Imus should apologize if someone misunderstood his comments. You have responded as though your upset that some african americans would be upset by his comments, if they truly believed that he
was stereotyping. If he offended whites from your perspective you would first have to ask yourself does racism exist in this country and does it transfer over to our judicial system. Its my belief that racism does exist but we have a lot more people who fight against racism which is one of the very reasons that Barrack Obama may be our next president.

You also state the vast majority of African Americans will vote for Obama and your assumption is soley because he is black. First of all I would like to say that Barrack Obama is of
mixed race as Im not sure why you would totally discount his
white heritage, which im sure is disrepectful to his mother. In regards to the African American vote you fail to mention that historically African Americans have voted for the Democratic Party as they have embraced what they believe benefits them politically.


I agree with your last paragraph, although a nation can't be dismissive of wrongful acts that have effected an entire race or group of people then not expect a backlash from the future generations effected by those wrongful acts.

Racism exists, if you dont believe that youre a bigger fool than I am. If a person of negro skin wouldve asked the same question it wouldnt of been amplified like it has been, nor would it of been had a person of pasty skin save Imus had asked the question. The crux of this argument is that Imus has already alluded to quasi-racial remarks and the media wishes to jump down his bigot-ass throat, thats all. This has nothing to do with race and all with media manipulation
