The conventional wisdom seems to be to say who I made the bet with and possibly get them to pay, however, I don't think that will work. I'm not trying to string this along or anything so I'll just say who it is...

The bet was with 5 Star Bomb and it was for $300 on who would win the AFC Pats or Colts (neither win is a push) and it was made around Nov/Dec....Anyways the Pats won and he told me he would pay me many times but just never got around to doing so, hopefully, he still plans on paying me but I am not sure this is the case....

That's not always true JJ, I've bet with a poster before and nobody got stiffed. He even posts here all the time. I'd suggest when dealing with other posters only make "side bets" etc with someone you speak to off the board.

Agree probably a good idea not to, unless it's someone you really do trust or speak to off the forum. Most sidebets aren't let "lets bet who covers", but just little challenges or props that come up randomly IMO.
