Russ has only banned me once. I kind of enjoy the crowd over there. He would be ok if he would fight fair. But the first time someone makes contact with him, and he's a big target because of his greed, he reverts to street-thug bitchery and personal attacks.

He would be smart not to try to compete. I mean he should come out and say the truth that he takes cashola from anyone and he provides a forum...period. The posters would appreciate it because they all know it anyway. He looks silly trying convice folks the world is flat gig, or that royal and betus as good books when the world knows different. I'm still hopeful that one day he will throw the scammers off his site.

We shall see Clip. Russ is old school where there is no white or black just all grey. Everything can be rationalized as good, yes even pure evil. My read is he is tired of getting his ass kicked and he knows its only going to get worse. My read tells me that he knows he has to re create himself or MW will continue to lose ground. One of his strengths is that he can change if he has too. We are in that stage now of convincing him. By this time next year he will either dump the thieves or he will be so far behind he wont even get his own threads on how he screwed things up anymore.

Bookmakers I think like him OK. He is a good ole boy and he does what they say and always backs the books in disputes. The problem facing russ is his site is dropping and competition is pushing him out. When you stop sending players your leverage drops. MW is not sending players so russ knows he needs to do something. He's tried attacking his competition with clevfan personal attacks and every trick in the book but the trends are not changing. He knows what he has to do but its not easy to call tej & russo up and say its over. But he will one day.

TruthTeller should not be banned. He is a long, long time poster. I would guess Royal insisted because russ does not ban solid posters. TT has got in his shots at SBR over the years too...thats life. No way russ bans TT without pressure from above.

Hawk has a quick fuse with banning and really should let people post away but it is his site.

I go a ways back with Hawk so I will not pile on, I still look at his site and post sometimes but we all start going into different directions.

I feel more comfortable posting at SBR's site and Shrink's site and trying to focus on sports and gambling posts mainly.

Now this type of thread we must try and avoid, sure Drunker wants to blow steam but that is what we have Peep's for.

I have spoken to him over the phone too about a year back. He seemed an ok guy speaking to him.

However, you can see his true colours when you question any of his books. As you say SBR, if I were an advertiser I would love him since he will always stand up for you even if you are in the wrong.

Legit advertisers don't love it...he has no credibility because he defends books when they are dead wrong. His defense of a book has gotten to the point where it means nothing...all it does is spark more controversy.

Let's get one thing straight about the Major. IT shows just how much of an idiot he is when he makes shit up about me, it shows his lack of really being on the inside of the industry. I know alot of the psuedo posters on MW. The all laugh everytime he goes after me. They ask if he even knows who I am. He is only making a fool of himself and whether he knows it or not, hurting his Ad revenue.
