Tool is sort of stereotypical American youth angry at the world junk in my eyes, but the beauty of music is that you can listen to whatever fulfills your needs. I REALLY like The Strokes as musicians, and used to really enjoy Queens of the Stone Age, the Chemical Brothers, and Radiohead. I still can't believe The Strokes are American with their sound, as it seems like to make it in America today you need to be hiphop or pretend to be some angry fake badass that knows three chords and screams into a microphone.
